Forced Unlimited Guessing Codenames

Forced Unlimited Guessing Codenames

It's codenames, and the clueing is normal.
But your team has to keep guessing until they win, hit the assassin, or hit a wrong word.

Sign up below. I think 6 or 8 is probably optimal.

Yea agreed

I'm gonna think a tad more, Antarctica is still my lean right now but I'd feel waaaay better if either of us could think of some possible clues for giant + candidates so we could rule something out

I think glacier is notably better for Antarctica because I think they are pretty big. But also, those are tough words to comment. And I can def see that being a solid clue for it.

I feel we might guess draft or something w a glacier clue

Like with Titanic we definitely think glacier and Antarctica, with glacier we'd think Antarctica but probably look for something cold/watery before big

Antartica

Don’t know that

Maybe an African food dish so Africa and cook?

Maybe it’s seafood to bring in scuba?

Or actually Greek so Olympus

And then draft for n-1

And then city - 0 makes sense bc you said Olympus is not a city so he was hoping that would get us back on it

Cook
Scuba
Olympus
Draft
Bottles

Not sure as I’m not a foodie, but this makes the most sense to me for what this word is…and sounds more greek than African but could be wrong

Vegas - 4
Dice
Swing
Olympus
Lap (dance)? or Africa (another location)?

round - 3
Circle
Lap
Draft

taramasalata - 3
Cook
Olympus
Scuba diver?

I agree that it sounds Greek and is a food (salata = salad seems right). No idea about #3. And I’m basically lost on Vegas. But our final word is either Africa or Scuba diver. Since I’m not sure how taramasalata would be both a Greek and African dish, then I guess I’m fine with Scuba diver. I don’t love it, but seems like a Hail Mary here from DZ anyway.

I guess charge could’ve been the 4th for Vegas and we were gifted it.

I’m a little worried about scuba diver being the 2nd Titanic word because of the water connection, but maybe it’s Atlantis because they’re both at the bottom of the ocean. It’s not like you can scuba dive down to the Titanic.

Oh well, if it’s scuba diver then basically we’ve been honorary members of the blue team this game.

Cook
Olympus
Draft
Scuba diver

At least I'll get my scuba diver answer.

Welp, you got there. Congrats.

I think we did okay for the most part. I understand the Antarctica guess for the iceberg connection.

The only thing I didn't understand was the charge guess, which was just straight up awful imo.

If I wanted police/charge, I would have said taser. Or if you don't like that definition of charge, I could have used citation.

Other than that, we did okay. They teased us by almost guessing Atlantis (and then we almost guessed it in return).

GG all.

Nice! gg all

Yaaarg yea was tricky to differentiate at the end, kinda hard to figure out which exact one with similar stuff there

Good clues gg

Taramasalata is a Greek fish dip!

Also a pretty kickass word in that it’s 12 letters with an A every other letter.

Maybe squid for giant squid and Atlantis? Or megaladon

Dunno…tough word to clue for and Loch Ness and centaur also on the board for any fantasy words

Would have to clue megaladon earlier to get past Nessie blocker I think if it’s not assassin

Great clues Zeus

Wooo!!! Great guesses at end game

Board had a few blockers for each other- e.g. atlantis - scuba

Tbh vegas was a bad clue. 1m ways to interpret it
