Would an answer of "police" have been close enough? I feel like it wouldn't.
Also not sure that shadowfaxes from the 80s or earlier are a great idea in general with this crowd.

yeah, the musical angle woulda been good also for the band if s was on the outside; I didn't even think about it for figuring out your clues tho

I think either P6 is legit and should get it done. Would probably go with the more specific one.
S7 seems like the right one if P6 somehow doesn’t do it. There’s an S5, as a decent follow-up to P6, but I think P6 nails it on its own 95% of time.
did we ever make a rule on apostrophes?
Airborne is 8 letters.
I thought s7 could be santa's, but I wasn't sure if apostrophes count as letters, or even if they are legal. Is any punctuation fine?

I think we should allow apostrophes but we haven't really discussed to make a ruling yet on it
P6, the obv one, is obv the one we should do
There's a decent P7 that's an opposite clue but I still prefer the obvious P6.
L10 and S8 are similar clues to get at it also
I think we just go the right p6 and be done tho

S7 prolly Sparrow or skipper and s4 is ship. Dunno the others, but there's gotta be a bunch of captain names out there.
