In this thread, we will play a new word game called Sides. It's somewhat similar to codenames, but cooperative and diff
If q4 is what I think it is, it's good.
Q4 is basically like d4, right?
I feel like they can figure out d4 if we give them a word in the domain and they can deduce the right target if they think about it, perhaps
Why wouldn't we want to just give the best possible clue we can? I don't get it.

But there aren’t a ton of good options here; gonna need to get them on right path and have them deduce the right word
i5 prolly the best clue we can give so using unkq here is best option as we need to go in from the left
So yeah, I’m on board because I don’t have a better unkq word for the domain and it could bink if they know it and deduce or it’ll open up i5 and the left side worst case
If we could only give one clue to get this and had no more chances, sudden death style, then I clue e7
But since we do get more than one, let’s fire q4 and open up that juicy left side of the board

In the real game you are allowed to spell it when you say it, so in this when we type it we should be allowed to pronounce it?

Evidently it's pronounced key, kay, or kway. All are acceptable.
To your question, I'd say no. Just bold the clue. No extra info.
