SIDES - Inaugural Game Thread
In this thread, we will play a new word game called Sides. It's somewhat similar to codenames, but cooperative and diff
Oh
I dunno
They prolly need to know g7
Worried r3 wonβt help them if they donβt think of the word
I guess p9 is available after r3 if they arenβt there yet
are we supposed to give a %? i'd say 20-25?
they can prob figure out g7 when we clue r3. not so sure about the reverse, so i'd go with r3
if they think of the target, then the right r3 is pretty easy to deduce; 3-4 of us had it as first thought
if someone clues r3, I'm not sure this comes to mind that easily
if they didn't deduce g7 last time then not sure why they would this time, unless they just didn't spend time to deduce it last time...unsure which it is so worried about not cluing g7, which is much closer to target than onyx or the words they know
but maybe that's just me; i'm fine with r3 if others want to do that
if r3 doesn't work, we can try p9; if that doesn't work, then we get limited on options
I think ruby is much closer than 20-25% to the target
saying it's that low may mislead them? I dunno, tough to say
percentages are hard
i'm fine with either clue
There’s not a chance they don’t get it with r3.
Onyx card to the left of r3 absolutely gets this.
ok let's do it
rye
bump
Whiskey and rye
Rye bread
Rye is a type of wheat
Whiskey is made from rye
You know how I like my corned beef?
On marble rye.
Spoiler
with spicy brown mustard
I dont get it
Is it a joke
No.
Marble rye.

I'm getting on a plane in a few minutes so I'll be offline for a while. Feel free to bold marble while I'm offline. I can't think of any possible connection between opal, jade, or onyx with whiskey or bread. But marble fits.
marble
Yeah my R3 was run as well lol, never heard of marble rye don't think we get it here
I have never heard of a marble run in my life.
Only reason I know marble rye is because of Seinfeld. I've never seen or heard of it outside of that show, but that is the r3 I was thinking of.
