I was thinking c3 cap would be a good confirmer if the target is something you wear on your head (and might still be), but it can't be beanie, baby, or babies because b4 and b6 were mentioned.
Need to sift through the other confirmers.
I'm talking myself into something in the headwear arena, but I'm confused by the clue since the target cannot be beanie.
Seems like this has to be for ty beanie babies, because pretty sure the brand mark is lowercase and not going Ty keeps us off of baseball and Extreme Home Makeover clues.
I have no idea what t2 is.
C3 gets in the ballpark. S8 from c3, t5, b5, b7, b9 all decent confirmers.

the way he phrased it B4/6 and not b6 directly makes me think it's still possible. it's not b4 and that b6 relates to the b4, so our b6 is still logically alive for the target

D1iab offered the most confirmers and it's possible he didn't think of Beanie Babies at all given that he didn't know what t2 was.
Stuffed animal is also an option, I suppose, but then I don't know what the confirmers would be.
If Nich hadn't mentioned b4/6 then locking in Beanie Babies would absolutely be the move right now.

my understanding of our convention is that b4/6 means b4 with b6 being a variant of the b4...so baby/babies
b6 by itself would be the clue for beanie
but I def saw how that could be misinterpreted after and will try to avoid in the future

I knew beanie babies, but didn't know the company who made them so ty was a shadowfax for me. Didn't bother mentioning them because nich already had and I didn't want to repeat b6 again for obvious reasons.
And yeah, they were all types of headwear. Gj

There's S5 but it's not great on it's own
C5 is the best I've got for a side letter.
S6 is good but it could easily send them in the wrong direction.
S6 is a nice shadowfax confirmer that one or both guessers will be familiar with
