Who Wants To Be A (not real) Millionaire?
I found a website that has a ton of WWTBAM questions so why not try it out here, who's interested?
Will be 10 questions instead of 15 as the first 5 (0 to £1,000) are pretty easy anyway, 3 lifelines will be:
50/50 (i'll randomly remove 2 incorrect answers)
Phone A Friend (Another POGger, doesn't have to be involved in this thread i'll just PM them the question and explain)
Ask The Host (Same as Phone A Friend but will be asking myself instead)
£2,000
£4,000
£8,000
£16,000
£32,000 - If you reach here you're guaranteed minimum of £32,000
£64,000
£125,000
£250,000
£500,000
£1,000,000
Who wants to go first? First come first served! Obviously no research allowed
Must be an issue with the site
If we do this in the future, the host should probably be the one compiling the answers.
Otherwise you could look at who gave what answer, and if someone has a particular expertise, go with them. That would be less "ask the audience" and more "phone a friend" on steroids.
agreed
Spoiler
immediately after posting i wanted to delete it but then realized pog may have already seen it anyway, ended up putting it in spoilers so as not to influence the others
but i felt really dumb about it since i'd earlier been discussing historical ruins in great detail in the thread and was kind of hoping when eric chimed in he'd give a different answer just to make it less of a phone a friend on steroids
also, this is again me being pedantic
Spoiler
a bailey is often the outer wall but not necessarily, it's specifically from "motte and bailey" where the motte is a keep on a raised hill where the lord and his men lived and the motte below was where a village was protected to a lesser extent (the motte could also protect the lord from the villagers themselves)
![](https://s3.amazonaws.com/twoplustwo-actually-definitely-helping-stud/userimages/BBapzxq.png)
since this was a widespread and considered the earliest fortification style of medieval europe, the term bailey was later adopted to also sometimes mean the outer wall, other times mean a courtyard inside the outer wall, or just any wall, etc etc because once you deviate from the motte and bailey design, what constituted a bailey and what didn't was a little unclear
the better answer would have been curtain, because the most exterior wall is always the curtain wall, but again, that would probably be a little to obvious to anyone guessing so i see why they went with bailey instead
Lol I kinda liked the phone a friend on steroids

Glad you didn't ask me. Would have felt bad giving you an answer of "LOL no idea".
on the show when the guy got this question he laughed and took the money
C and D are both such clunky names. Not nice to say out loud at all. Especially not for a single object.
Kings and Queens sound wrong because there is usually a single king and/or queen. Also doesn't sound right.
Lords and Ladies passes the "sounds right" test.
I know nothing about the plant but I'd be guessing A if it was me with no life lines left.
Let's go for it 😃
Lords and Ladies
correct!
now I have to search for a 500k Q lol
Ooooooh get in I would've just blamed xander if it was wrong lol 😀

d. Venus williams
Hingis and Davenport both won their sole Wimbledon titles in the 1990s so I can immediately discard them

Let's do it! Venus Williams
