We are kind of in the same boat. I'm getting a formal job offer today after being out of a job since the end of May 2024.
I bought a completely random book off Amazon for no reason. But there was a reason.
I got copy #2 unless they write everyone and tell them they got copy #2.
It's quite a strange little book.
I am the literal worst at taking pictures. I am actually trying my best to get a good picture but it's like I am made of thumbs and pudding.
iPhone camera is good, but not good enough to compensate for whatever this is.
I tried to watch the Night Agent 2. The first series I actually finished. The second series I abandoned during episode 2. I cannot handle the bad writing

In episode 1, the good guy is running from the bad guys and during this chase he bumps into the good girl who miraculously had found him - yeah right.
In the second episode the good guy interrogates a bad guy in a safe place, only for the bad guy to be miraculously headshot through a small barely transparent window by some ****ing genius sniper. That was the moment I switched off the TV.
I'm watching "The Pitt" on Max. A super intense version of ER. I recommend it.

I've been talking to a lot of authors lately for some reason. A couple of weeks ago I told S.E. Hinton that when I was little, her books made me scared that I would have to be in knife fights. She said she hoped it was a good day when I realized there would be no knife fighting in my life.
It's holding up so far. Closest I've been to a knife fight is sparring with kitties.
Then I performed a Goetic Ritual of Demonic Algebra and invoked the spectre of Aleister Crowley. He was kinda tough to grok but either we are entering a new aeon of enlightenment or he really hates mustard.
