Pick 8 players with preset values from a budget of $200. The better they do in the WSOP the more points you score. Guess the number of main event entrants this year as a tie break.
I'm not even that deep into poker now, but this freeroll will male following the results more interesting. You've got until 12 Pacific on the 29th May (today) to put an entry in.
After the deadline I, and whoever else wants to, can post/link our teams and it could be a fun thing to follow.
There's a lucky dip entry for anyone who wants to put the minimum effort in and a 10k poker package prize for the winner.

This pool was a real mess!
It took three tries before my team was accepted. The first 2 just went off into the ether.
Then on Day 2 my team was there but all my players were gone.
Then on Day 3 I got my players back.
Lots of messages on poker.org so I wasn't the only one having these problems.
I know my pools may have the odd glitch but nothing like this.
I also see that my two Chinese players are also still alive in the Mystery Millions donkament.
I should get a few more points there but not nearly the truckload I'll get from Chairman Mao making the 5K final table.

So what is the prize for winning this anyway?
Poker.org says both an entry to THE Main Event in 2026 BUT they also say YOUR CHOICE of 2026 Main Events.
Not that we'll ever need to worry about it!

BTW I heard about this freeroll from the poker go podcast. It's churning out daily podcasts summarising what's happened in the day.
It also taught me about Adam Schwartz's new podcast. (One of the hosts of the Pokercast on 2+2)

I honestly wpuld have picked michael over Robert if he was available but he wasn't part of the 25k draft.
