Like I said, apart from the top 2 I have no clue. I'm not totally against cricket, but I just thought your analogy was bogus.

Racket
Cook
Root
Cricket
Pass
Plate
String
Strike

?

I'm okay with that

Racket
Cook
Root
Cricket
Pass

Plate
String
Strike

cook

honor - 6
squash - 4

Atlantis
Bill
Change
Circle
Cricket
Death
Disease
Figure
Loch ness
Mouse
Olympus
Pit
Plate
Platypus
Robot
Root
Shark
Strike
String
Tag

Code
Knight
Cook

Fair
Racket

Heuer - unlimited

Death
Cricket
Bill
Figure

Our list from last time. A bit worried about cricket being theirs.

I don't know who, what or where Heuer is.

If I had to guess, Heuer is a Germanic last name of someone famous (but unknown to me).

Maybe there's a famous Bill Heuer.

I got nothing else, because nothing is screaming German from that list to me.

TAG Heuer is a Swiss luxury type of watch

Surely better clues for just Tag so probably something else, circle maybe?

I guess? I've never heard of that watch so, I'm okay with that.

Tag
Bill
Figure
Circle
Cricket

Something like that? Moving cricket down because it could be theirs. Think that's a good idea or should we keep list the same?

I'm good with that, can't see any watch/Swiss related words

Tag
Bill
Figure
Circle
Cricket
pass

circle

I'll update the board & clue in the morning

honor - 6
squash - 4
Heuer - unlimited

Atlantis
Change
Cricket
Death
Disease
Loch ness
Mouse
Olympus
Pit
Plate
Platypus
Robot
Root
Shark
Strike
String

Code
Knight
Cook
Tag
Bill
Figure

Fair
Racket

Circle

problems - 6

Change
Death
Disease
Mouse
Shark
Strike

?

Remember that 3 of these words have to hit squash. I really think plate must be one of them because you don't choose that specific sport unless you're going for the double meaning.

"String of problems" is sort of a phrase right? Maybe some maths connection there too.

This is gonna be almost impossible because it hits almost everything a little bit but nothing stands out as being a lock.

Strike hits squash for sure.

Problems do have roots.

Strike
Root
Death
Disease

These four I feel best about.

Thing is he gave a 6 clue and root was next on our list, so it should be 100% out.

Good point. Missed that.

Hmm. Starting over.

6 words left. All six are problems, three are squash.

Atlantis
Change - Problem
Cricket - Squash
Death - Problem, Squash (weak, as in bugs)
Disease - Problem
Loch ness
Mouse - Problem
Olympus
Pit - Problem (weak), Squash (what happens when you fall into one?)
Plate - Squash
Platypus
Robot
Root - Ruled out by non-n-1?
Shark - Problem
Strike - Problem (weak), Squash
String - Squash

Strike
Pit
Death
Disease
(Two of Shark/Mouse/Change)

I'm missing something here, but I don't know what.

I do have a bad feeling that root will be ours, but we can't guess it.

String
Strike
Plate
Disease
Death
Robot
Shark
Mouse

I'm probably somewhere around there, but I kinda hate everything.

If String can for sure be tied with problems this helps a lot.

I mean I think it's weak but we have to guess it anyway? Same with plate. Otherwise what the hell was that squash clue about.

okay so I'm with you down to robot. I think I prefer mouse over robot, as mice in a house are a more typical problem people might have, than say, killer robots. Thoughts?

My reasoning for robot is not just "killer robots", but for bots or just AI in general becoming a bigger problem, and also robots can solve problems etc, so it works a few ways.

I do have very little conviction about all these words tho and we prolly have <5% of winning this round, so if you still prefer mouse I'm good with it.
