I'm okay with bolding all 9. None of them should be too awful, and I'd like to know where we stand when we miss one.

i'd rather do 2-3 of our thanksgiving ones first; we already know our list is likely good, so would be good to clear up the thanksgiving clue

i'd rather not move fall above the words that were already on its list; he expects us to guess those words in order

seems like he can't get turkey+valentine without thanksgiving clue, so day and fall are collateral damage if they are neutral

seems like Brush Cross and Hamburger hit the most, maybe some leftover for Telescope or Salad(don't think I'm getting to Chain, Craft or Kung Fu)

we were thinking Cross before though so this makes me get off it? maybe we hit Brush and Hamburger and then look for a third Arthur?

I’m actually okay with keeping cross for now. He didn’t give us an unlimited clue, so we’re probably not looking at crusader/atlantis/cross being the Arthur combo, but I don’t see a reason to drop that vs either of the other two right now.

Red might be getting seven next turn anyway, so this could simply be unwinnable.

I'm kind of leaning that way as we need to make progress this turn, and I definitely think we need to do something decisive in the sense of going the Cross route and skipping Atlantis or ignoring Cross/doing Atlantis and other handhelds.

Oh, I missed that crusader was neutral. I kept thinking we were red and that knight was theirs (and why the clue was Arthur and not Lancelot). That makes Atlantis the backup here.

His not clueing unlimited either means that one of Atlantis/cross isn’t ours or that plot is theirs and he didn’t want us to give them a freebie, especially with plot not even being on their 9-word bold last turn.

I usually don’t agree with skipping anything or moving anything on the list. There are endgame clueing conventions many players use which indicate which words are correct vs incorrect on the list. If burger/brush/atlantis get us an autopass, we’re left with three to go if we get another turn. Clueing for any permutation of three to win is fairly straightforward and is something many spymasters plan ahead of time. One of the worst things a team can do is change their list ahead of that.

However, given the clues, cross does seem way less likely to be theirs. Not a chance it’s dark orchid and probably neutral at worst. So I’m fine with going burger/brush/cross and keeping Atlantis at the top of the list if you are. But I’m not okay with removing Atlantis altogether. We should keep plot where it is. It’s way too dangerous to bold right now. If one, both, or neither of Atlantis/plot are ours next turn, Donk will tell us.

i can't say i'll be on board with the 3 handheld thing plan

what i'm thinking is that Cross is ours, 4donk wants us to get to it and skip atlantis which is the purpose of the reclue

it's weird because cross was a candidate so why was it reclued - and it's either to guess cross(and skip atlantis imo) - or to guess 2 other things and skip cross but the more I think about it the more I think it's the former

What three handheld thing plan? Handheld is hamburger and brush. Cross is a makeup from Arthur. No way is cross being reclued.

Why not? If my words are hamburger + brush + cross I'd clue handheld for 3, as there are 3 words. It also gives us the final guess after getting the 3 to go back for the final Arthur word.

I'm not going to come around to all 3 of hamburger, brush, and cross being ours.
