Walrus

So I've enjoyed the recent couple of Walruses and thought I'd jump on the band wagon.

Stuff available on YouTube in the UK please.

tl;dr up front and details in the spoiler below.

1. Something with no vocals.
2. Send me the best 3 songs a band/singer has got and I'll rank everyone's 3rd best.
3. A song I've never heard from a country I've never been to.
4. 1950s or earlier (no classical music allowed).
5. A song with difficult to understand lyrics (English language).
6. 150 seconds long or less.
7. A song from a band with at least 6 concurrent members.
8. A solo piece from someone more famous for being in a band.
9. A song from a self titled album.
10. Great song from a terrible human.

General advice:

Good stuff that I've never heard will out score great stuff that I'm familiar with. I want to learn about new music.

1. Could be dance music, classical or whatever.

2. I'll listen to all songs. I'll decide which is 3rd best for each artist.

3. I've been to UK, Ireland, Iceland, Sweden, Finland, France, Spain, Czechia, Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, Cyprus, Netherlands, Italy, Vatican City, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, China, Singapore, UAE.

4. Released Dec 31st 1959 or earlier. Any classical music will rank last regardless of quality.

5. Has to have lyrics in English that are difficult to understand. I'm not the best at understanding lyrics, so this isn't as tricky as it first seems. Could just be a certain part of the song where it's difficult to understand.

6. Anything longer than 150 seconds in length will ranknladt regardless of quality.

7. A song from a band that has 6 or more named members on their Wikipedia page or other confirming website.

8. e.g Imagine by John Lennon would fit but please don't submit this.

9. Self explanatory I think.

10. The quality of the song is more important than the severity of their terribleness, so long as I agree they're terrible.

E.g.

Where we belong - lostprophets
(D tier song, S Tier terrible human - would rank badly)

I'll give an entry deadline once a couple of entries start rolling in.

This will be a joy for you to score.

I'll play!

Just spotted this today.
I'll enter.

10. Great song from a terrible human.

Would "from" mean the terrible person wrote the song or performed the song?

Oh, I guess my previous question applies to #3 as well. Song is from, Performer is from, both or either?

Just to let you know, no one has entered yet.

This is not likely to go ahead unless I get at least 5 entries.

You're welcome to enter but you might either be waiting for a while or it might be a wasted entry.

You can interpret the categories in any way you want.

I will enter.

As will I

eb will too

Both is best, but I'll take links only I suppose.

1 entry in.

Yeah, I'll be in at some point.

Entered.
As usual, aced them all. Now I just need Mr Biscuits to agree.

I wonder how this walrus is coming along.
No need to worry about a last place finish because my entry is in.

I have 3 entries so far with 2 more promised.

If i could get those 2 and whoever else by this time next week then I'll close entries.

If they don't enter then I'll run it with 3

eb and I will definitely enter this week

I have every intention of entering

Alright I'm in.

I have no way of knowing if these are valid video links in the UK, so let me know if you run into a problem and I'll send an alternate link.

Currently assembling a ragtag selection of songs. Will be in shortly!

I’m in. Some of those categories were pretty tough.

Yes. I need to get on this. I didn't get all the entries I wanted but tkme has elapsed so we'll run with it.

sending

I somehow missed there being a walrus to enter

I will enter

Sorry to everyone who has submitted. I am on this but more slowly than I'd like. I can still take more entries if they are in soonish
