and the winner is....... XANDER BISCUITS!!!

His was the only entry (except mine and mine doesn't count).
I have #6(Wallace Ford) #9(Ann Doran) and #16(Barbara Stanwyck)
xander has #136 (Robert De Niro)

About 3000 more movies to be added. Expect updates from time to time.

Winner

At the 1500 movie mark, I have #6 (Wallace Ford) and #12 (Ann Doran)
xander has Robert De Niro at #161

at the 1600 mark, I have Wallace Ford (#8) and Ann Doran (#15).
Robert De Niro drops to #187

after 1700 films
I've got Stanwyck (6), Ford (7) and Foulger (17)

Robert De Niro is at 7 films (way down there somewhere)

I still have Wallace Ford in 7th and Barbara Stanwyck in 18th
Robert De Niro is in 8 films

As I thought, Ward Bond might not have the stamina to run a long race. The mighty Morris Ankrum is closing fast.
My horses are running 13th and 15th.
xander's Robert De Niro is holding with just 8 films.

I've now passed the 2000 film mark. Here's how we stand so far:

xander's picks:
Samuel L Jackson 8
Robert De Niro 8
Bruce Willis 5
Lois Maxwell 4
Morgan Freeman 2
Sigourney Weaver 2
Buster Keaton 1
Scarlett Johansson 1
Elizabeth Banks 1
Helena Bonham Carter 0

my picks:
Byron Foulger 23
Kim Fowley's dad 16
Wallace Ford 16
Elisha Cook Jr 15
Barbara Stanwyck 15
Ann Doran 14
Henry Fonda 10
Glenda Farrell 10
Ann Sothern 7
Katharine Hepburn 3

includes all films (uncredited too)
latest film Ladies Of Washington in which Byron Foulger showed up working at the front desk of the hotel were Anthony Quinn lived (uncredited)

"Ladies Of Washington" - the kind of crap I watch

BTW, the Bess Flowers count is now up to 70 (all(?) uncredited)

now at the 2100 film mark

this last 100 included 32 by Roger Corman - that moves Dick Miller from nowhere to #1

at the 2200 film mark

not much change - Barbara Stanwyck becomes first "A" movie lead to reach the Top 5

at the 2400 movie mark

So who's this bozo in 2nd place?
Never heard of him.
I look at his picture: never seen this guy in my life.
And yet, letterboxd claims I've seen 23 of his movies!

Including his uncredited appearances, I've seen 30.
Not anywhere near Bess Flowers who is now up to 85 (probably all uncredited).

now past 2500 movies entered

Just a plug for Letterboxd.
This is great - all kinds of info - this is the movies with the most repeat views.
These are all fun movies except The Lost Missile.
I watched it twice because I didn't realize that I'd already seen it.
I watched it 3 times because I forgot that I'd already made this mistake once before.
The Lost Missile is kinda crappy.

Another good thing about Letterboxd is that you don't have to just look at the leaders. You can scroll down till you can say "who the hell are these people?".
Here's a bunch of people who I've seen in 4 movies.
Some I know the name but couldn't pick them out of a lineup.
And then there are two famous people right beside each other:
Ann Savage: star of "Detour" who came out of retirement to make that movie about Winnipeg.
Arch Hall Sr: famous for being the father of Arch Hall Jr!

at the 2800 movie mark Barbara Stanwyck sprints past a whole passel of character actors

but how are xander biscuits picks doing?

xander's picks:
Robert De Niro 11
Samuel L Jackson 9
Lois Maxwell 9
Bruce Willis 8
Morgan Freeman 5
Sigourney Weaver 4

Helena Bonham Carter 1

at the 3200 movie mark, Stanwyck is the first to 30 but who the hell is Pierre Watkin (never heard of him and his face is not familiar)

xander's picks:
Robert De Niro 12
Lois Maxwell 10
Samuel L Jackson 9
Bruce Willis 8
Morgan Freeman 5
Sigourney Weaver 5
Buster Keaton 2
