I feel like this is slightly on the game side of the middle. 8 or 9? I'm struggling to think of a good example of an 11.

def a sport! but you can be fat as hell and die from being so out of shape in the middle of bowling, and still be a great bowler. so you don't need to be a great athlete.

at first I thought "league" made it more of a game. but now I'm thinking maybe more of a sport... cuz it's more "official" or whatever.

for your guess of 8-9 I think I'd put something like shuffleboard

I would personally put bowling as more game than sport but will concede that it's likely that amp put it as a sport. It's something you go out and do for fun with friends or on a date. League bowling is a bit more serious, but in the end, it's still just bowling.

I would struggle to put the US Open finals of professional bowling as high as a 15.

cuz I mean *if* bowling is on the sport side... then we are at 13 minimum... and bowling on its own could be 13-15... then add in the "league" to give it an even higher number

Yeah, I'd go with pro golf > rec golf > mini golf > league bowling > putt putt (with a windmill on the 18th green)
