couldn't sleep and actually played along just watching the video. It was actually really fun, it's great having him give you ideas and strategies when you get stuck but you can also go ahead on your own when a lot is clicking
I would have never solved it by myself but after using his initial ideas to get going it was enjoyable figuring a bunch of it out
Yeh that's how I do most of their puzzles.
Don't really have to the time or patience to sit staring at them for ages, so give it shot and if I get stuck watch the video for a bit. Helps that I find Simon pretty entertaining. This one, I had zero chance!

Not sure. I don't think so.
I'd never heard of Jane Street, and follow CtC quite a bit, and it's the first time I've seen them do a puzzle from there.
