3v3 Codenames

Once I knew I was going to do a 1-clue I struggled with which one to keep and chose attic because of the blocker potential with window and foam. TBob came up with a great clue to get around attic, but I guess missed the n-1.

I let you guys down, I'm sorry. I scrolled back and didn't see a list. Checked again after cluing and saw it and kicked myself. I'm sorry for wasting your time with what would've been a perfect clue had I given the right number.

All good TBob. I can eat some of the blame for being so militantly against it. I really thought the no n-1 plus IBD not even trying for the win was a bat signal that we were way off track.

Nah, you were right to stick to n-1. We need to preserve that as a "rule" because these considerations can also be wrong in the other direction. I found the perfect clue in what really looked like a hopeless game, and then blew it with the number. That's what hurts :(

Beehive isn’t bad as a house of honey; not looking at board to see other blockers tho

Why not just a Zelda clue then? As a 2-clue, it seems he’s trying to tie link to something less intuitive. And he didn’t capitalize ocarina, so he’s clueing the instrument itself rather than the game.

Ocarina is an actual real life instrument? This is new information for me
