I don’t know why I’m having a hard time understanding why cell was regarded as a slam dunk for tap.

So, tail is right. Oil is not right. I’m thinking war isn’t right either, but I don’t know what else goes with mafia.
And why it’s in past tense
I missed it at first but someone may tap a cell phone

Hmm, maybe drop? Like someone is followed to a drop point? Also kind of connects to mafia/crime.
In music, the bridge can follow the chorus.
it's been a bit since I played bridge, but I think you'd just use the word follow, which also works for tail
I don't know of a specific term 'followed' that is distinct from 'follow' in bridge

I wish we had put drop at end of our list (or any of these words) because then the lack of 0 clue would tell us that word isn't ours or the 0 clue would have meant it was ours
if we remove the words I could connect to tail, then we have left:
Bermuda - don't see Mafia or followed connection
Bridge - Mafia did infrastructure/building projects, so slight connection; don't see followed connection
Center - don't see for Mafia or for followed
Drill - Mafia did infrastructure/building projects, so slight connection; followed drill instructions seems kinda weak as does Mafia
Drop - money/info/drug drops is same connection for Mafia and followed

would it be crazy to just go tail/oil/pass and not clear up drop or other words for them (it was next on their list)
I mean going next on their list doesn't clear anything up for them since they can do n or n-1 or unlimited clue depending, but point stands; if we can't figure out followed do we just pass? maybe he was just doing 2 clue so we'd know oil is ours and war isn't and knew he couldn't connect the 2 words
Is it insane to guess drop here staring at a blue tap clue? They still need four, drop is next on their list, and they seemed generally lost on the tap clue.
