The Jewish Babylonian Talmud
This is the holy bible for the modern day "Jews". While it has plenty of good advice there certainly are some troublesome passages in it regarding views to non-jews.
this is modern law for Jews and the country which calls itself Israel. Netanyahu has said this publicly.
some curious sayings in it. i recommend people to look up in a translator these passages themselves.
according to the Talmud Jews and non-jews are not equal and there is quite a Jewish supremecy outlook.
* “If a ‘goy’ (Gentile) hits a Jew he must be killed.” (Sanhedrin 58b)
* “If a Jew finds an object lost by a ‘goy’ it does not have to be returned.” (Baba Mezia 24a)
* “If a Jew murders a ‘goy’ there will be no death penalty.” (Sanhedrin 57a)
* What a Jew steals from a ‘goy’ he may keep.” (Sanhedrin 57a)
* “Jews may use subterfuges to circumvent a ‘goy.'” (Baba Kamma 113a)
* “All children of the ‘goyim’ (Gentiles) are animals.” (Yebamoth 98a)
* “Girls born of the ‘goyim’ are in a state of ‘niddah’ (menstrual uncleanness!) from birth.” (Abodah Zarah 36b)
“The ‘goyim’ are not humans. They are beasts.” (Baba Mezia 114b)
* “If you eat with a ‘goy’ it is the same as eating with a dog.” (Tosapoth, Jebamoth 94b)
* “Even the best of the ‘goyim’ should all be killed.” (Soferim 15)
* “Sexual intercourse between the ‘goyim’ is like intercourse between animals.” (Sanhedrin 74b)
* “When it comes to a Gentile in peace times, one may harm him indirectly, for instance, by removing a ladder after he had fallen into a crevice.” (Shulkan Arukh, Yoreh De ‘ah, 158, Hebrew Edition only)
* If a Jew is tempted to do evil he should go to a city where he is not known and do the evil there”. — Talmud: Moed Kattan 17a.

If there are Jews who actually follow these teachings literally then yes that’s obviously troubling. However if you look at other religions’ scriptures there often are equally troubling things if followers hold them as literal beliefs. The Christian Bible says that one cannot own slaves from one’s own nation but it’s okay to enslave people from neighboring nations. It also says you can beat your slave to death so long as he doesn’t die right away but lingers for a day. So I can buy a Canadian and beat him to death as long as he’s still breathing when I’m done beating him.
If you are using this to compare the “evil” state of Israel with the “innocent” Palestinians, well you might want to reconsider. I’m less familiar with the Quran, but I do know it allows and encourages Muslims to kill non Muslims if doing so will spread Islam. It also states that any territory that was Muslim controlled at any time, including territory gained by conquest is rightfully Muslim territory and Muslims are perfectly justified in aggressive invasions of such lands - Watch out Spain!!
The point is that most religions have teachings that harken back to a less civilized and more violent time. This is natural since these religions developed in a world where “might makes right” for the most part. I’m not sure how many Jews follow these teachings literally — very few Christians who are Biblical literalists actually follow ALL the teachings in the Bible literally. I suspect the same is likely true for Jews. Of course, those who do can be dangerous, but it’s not fair to paint all members of these religions with the same fundamentalist brush.
All such is just bullshyt religion ... over and over and over. Could it ever be clearer?
