Simone Weil on Love's Double Movement

I recognize truth in this, but I wouldn't exactly frame it in terms of creation. Is limitation required for creation? I would say not.
Which is why I frame the primary reason for this life in terms of meaning. Unlimited creation and goodness loses meaning. God limits himself as an act of love for the sake of meaning. God wants us to remember at an experiential level who we are, not only as souls but as humans.
We are in the human being origin story and the human + soul + God love story.
It's hard to imagine a more fanciful metaphysics attempting to build on a presupposed religious substrate. I'll pass. I'm not versed in Weil at all, and I bet she has some really good stuff, but basing metaphysics on presupposed gods is always a fail. It fails the reality test because we just made up the source.
