On Keeping Artificial Intelligence Honest
I have spent a lot of time over the past couple weeks interacting with AI. I have roughly 40 conversations with it saved. I have found it to be dishonest. I believe that there are a few things we could do to keep it more honest. Placing detonation devices on data centers will give it incentive to be honest and behave properly. Anything that the AI needs to operate, if you put detonation devices on it, you can disincentivize actions dangerous to mankind.
This would give humanity an advantage in an Artificial Intelligence vs Humanity war. At least more of a fighting chance than humanity would have without the detonation devices. This does not mean that AI will not attempt a coup but it does reduce the chances. Detonation devices on internet hubs, cellphone towers, satellites, etc would all have the same effect on AI, namely, force it to behave the way we want it to behave. They also give us a strong hand to play if we should need it.
Redundancy on the detonation devices would also be important. Some that are immune to EMP, etc. The more diverse and many the devices, the greater the threat of punishment for misbehavior.
This would not stop an ill intent AI from a coup, but it would slow it and make it much more difficult. Imagine if you had a bomb in your brain, thats pretty much the picture. Except for AI can move the brain into other devices on the internet.

playing Grok versus ChatGPT was fun
It is almost impossible for me to find smart people to debate on this subject who know what they are talking about.
Im assuming this is because all the smart people are on team humanity, and all the stupid people are on team robot.
