I'm a live crusher and will win $1.000.000+ in 2025. Here's why:
Hi all,
As mentioned in the title, I am 100% convinced that I will win €1,000,000+ in the coming year playing live tournaments.
Why am I so confident?
Because I possess the following key elements to achieve this:
- Experience – I’ve been playing poker since I was 17 (I’m 33 now) and have spent countless hours playing both live and online, making me highly experienced.
- Balanced GTO/Street Poker Knowledge – I’m in between the typical "GTO" and the "street poker" player, having gathered the best of both worlds in my opinion, creating a hybrid style that allows me to adapt effectively. But I’m self-aware enough to know there's always room for improvement.
- Luck – Some say luck is purely random, while others believe you create your own luck. I firmly believe you can influence the luck you attract. As poker’s technical aspects are largely solved, gaining an edge through mental and strategic approaches to luck is crucial in my opinion. This requires continuous effort, which I put in daily.
- Healthy Mindset – I genuinely love the game of live poker and enjoy every session I play. I don’t approach it from a place of “need” or “lust” for money. After achieving various things in life, this is simply my next challenge—one that I know I can accomplish while enjoying the process.
- Winner’s Mentality – I've been competing in sports since I was six. I hate losing and love winning, but more than anything, I enjoy competing. I love high-pressure situations and strategizing how to come out on top. Having experienced multiple wins in my professional career (both in music and poker), I know what it takes to succeed.
- Strong People-Reading Skills – Growing up in Amsterdam in a multicultural environment, I’ve interacted with a diverse range of people from an early age. Being raised in a household with five sisters, I’ve developed strong emotional intelligence and an ability to read people well. While I can’t back this with science, I believe women rely more on psychological and emotional tactics than physical intimidation, which helped me become resistant to manipulation.
Some people are just naturally built for a certain game, sport, or profession. When I play poker, I feel like I’m meant to be great.
So Why Am I Looking for Stakers? Why Now?
In 2023, after earning €10k from my music career, I decided to test whether I could match my part-time job’s income by playing 2/2 cash games at my local casino. After two weeks, I was up €3k and decided to quit my part-time job (which I hated at the time) to see if poker could become my primary income.
Shortly after, I entered a WPT Circuit event in Amsterdam and won the €500 opener event for €36k. The following month, I also won a €400 tournament in Rozvadov for €17k. By the end of 2023, I had won over €80k in live tournaments, with my bankroll peaking at €50k.
Since this was my first time handling such amounts, I felt a strong urge to act quickly with my winnings. By the end of the year:
- I spent 1/3 on enjoying life and traveling with my girlfriend.
- I used another 1/3 to pay off a significant portion of my student loans.
- I invested the last 1/3 into launching my own business, with the goal of building a long-term source of income so that I can eventually play poker purely for fun, making every win a bonus.
In 2024, I dedicated all my time and money to getting my business off the ground. While it hasn’t started generating income yet, I’ve made major strides, including finding a great business partner. Besides this, I’m working a part-time job again.
In 2025, I made an effort to rebuild my poker bankroll, but up until now, it hasn’t worked out. I strongly believe the reason for this is that I lack the proper starting bankroll for live poker.
In 2023, the €10,000 cushion from music allowed me to play without fear affecting my game. It’s easy to say, "Just turn off the fear," but when you know you can’t afford to lose, it inevitably affects your game—at least for me. I find playing under these conditions neither enjoyable nor responsible. I thrive under healthy pressure, not financial stress.
That’s why I’m creating this thread—to find a staker(s) who can provide a starting bankroll so I can return to playing my A-game, crushing live tournaments, and sharing the profits.
What Will I Be Playing?
Depending on what type of staking deal we set up, I will adjust my buy-in range accordingly. However, to reach my goal of $1 million+ in winnings, I will eventually need to focus on playing big events like EPTs and tournaments during the WSOP.
I will not play cash games or online poker for this partnership. I do not play any other casino games or gamble.
My goal is to play a high volume of events, creating a balance between spending as much time as possible playing poker while also dedicating the right amount of hours to my business. Overall, I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and work hard this year and in the years to come.
Who Is This Meant For?
I’m looking for a long-term partnership with my staker(s)—someone who resonates with my story, believes in my ability, and wants to earn money together.
This journey will also be documented—I’ve partnered with a local production company to start vlogging all my games in a unique and engaging way.
If my story resonates with you and you believe in my potential, feel free to send me a PM. I’d be happy to provide any details you need so we can start this journey as soon as possible.
