Anyone interested in online/live small stakes combo?

The player: Joe aka ragingbullj/wickedxdragons (-s on gg global) on poker sites, I've been playing since 2009 I started out online micros trying to learn the game and then I began playing mostly local tournaments and cash 1-2 as it's always been at least break even for me. Pair with online micros from time to time. I've won/chopped some smaller live tournaments in NY and QC for scores from $400 to $2500 over the years. I've got quite a few poker books I study. I use PT4 online. My online stats are pretty weighed down by the fact I started playing poker in 09 before I ever had any real grasp of strategy and logic... thank you Moneymaker Effect. I've never really played much more than micros or had a serious roll online so even a good hit at that level was rarely enough to reverse the graph. Online has just never been a big priority for long periods of time.

Truck driver but I have free time(at least 2 months) due to an injury at work and a desire to grind so I'm gonna take advantage and play some poker.

I'm based in Ontario and about an hours drive from Playground Poker where the WSOP Montreal event is held so I regularly visit Playground. The small fields online in Ontario are disappointing so I'll be taking the 20 minute drive over the Quebec border to play larger field MTT's and the occasional live stabs at Playground. That said I'm going to have gas and wear and tear on my dime and putting in a lot of hours so I thought I'd test the waters on staking while I have the time over the next few months because my bankroll does not match the grind I'd like to do.

I'd be interested in some prove it stakes as well. I'm likely going to play on GG global as I just got that setup after years in the weak Ontario bubble but if there's other sites requested I'm happy to get that rolling.

The plan: Ideally looking to run as many scheduled MTT's as possible on playing days. $3/15 range and a few $100-$150 deep stack live tournaments at playground as my style plays really well in deepstacks. I'm going to play regardless but I would love to increase my volume short term if I can find backing.

How big or small it becomes will depend on the interest. I am of course flexible and open to suggestions.

My live game has always been better to the point this year I will take a stab at some WSOP events in Montreal. I may offer a piece of the action and/or play a few events staked later on if anyone would be interested in that but for now I'm happy to prove myself.

Fun story since I don't have a referral as I haven't been staked in probably 12-13 years but I used to be staked back on PartTimePoker by a gentleman from Germany named Sputnik1 online. I don't think he's in the poker game at all anymore but he was a pretty good player. Great guy. I never really made him money, i like to think I was close to break even as I still had a lot to learn then but the relationship was great and lasted a couple years with zero issues. I was massively chipped up ITM in a Sunday 1/4 million with a top 10 stack with 600 to go, so much so he was on the rail watching and it blew up in spectacular fashion when I had a great read on a maniac but he happened to catch the nuts on the river as is customary. A few tilted hands later I was gone for $95 that very easily could have been a few thousand had I just sat out or backed off that maniac but I was playing to win and I was playing well until I wasn't. In hindsight it was amazing I was in that position considering how young/dumb I was at 20/21 year old at the time with not a lot of poker under my belt. I've played infinitely better poker in the years following and never come close to that type of score online. Such is life. Lets change that together.
