WSOP Cash Games

Hey,

My name is Tyler Short and I am a 26 year old professional poker player. I'm going to Vegas during the WSOP from June 1st through the 17th and I am looking to sell a % of my live cash game action during this time. I am going to be selling 1/3 of the action of a 30k bankroll and putting up the remaining 2/3 myself. I usually just sell to friends on a game by game basis but this feels easier to have the action presold. The majority of the play will be at 5/10nl, with a bit of 10/20nl if I can get in any good games. I will have 66% of the action so I am not looking to battle in a bunch of high variance lineups, I am looking to sit in the best game that offers us the best hourly.

Background Info

I have been playing poker for the past decade and it has been my main income source since around 2009. I have a lot of experience playing live poker with most of that being 2/5-5/10 nlhe.

Prior to black friday I grinded 90% heads up nlhe cash usually at stakes ranging from 1/2 to 5/10. After black friday I decided I didn't really want to leave the country, so for the past 3 years or so I have been staked by Imawhale (The biggest backing operation in the US) on US sites and currently play up to 5/10 nlhe hu and 6max. Over that time I have had control of 5 figures (regularly 20-40k) many times with no issues. I have a very high respect for backers and their investment and you can always know that your money will be safe.

The Bankroll

I will be selling 1/3 of a 30k bankroll. I will be selling the action at a 1.2 markup. I will be sitting in games where I have a large edge and will be able to get in a good amount of volume over the 2+ weeks I am in Vegas so it should be lower variance and a better return than when selling for a live MTT.

Total Buy-ins = $30000 x 1.2 markup = $36,000

1%= $360
5%= $1800
10%= $3600

Payment

I can accept BOA and cash in vegas and potentially am open to other options if it's reasonable.

Taxes

Unlike with a tournament score I do not need any tax forms from investors or to withhold anything. If we finish in profit you will receive all of your % and are responsible for paying your own taxes on your winnings.

If this gets off the ground I will have a google doc excel sheet that all investors will have access to. I will update the spreadsheet after every session.

This is a different type of investment than most threads so if there are any questions or clarification needed let me know. Just taking reserves for now to see whether there is any demand for something like this.
