the "meddling parents" stories almost pretty much always untrue. like 99% of stars are signed to massive agencies, cmon man
these are like the #2 bogus tabloid bs story only behind "[player] is banging his teammate's gf/wife/mom/sister/etc"

yeah i was gonna say that problem with tml media coverage is that there are the same number of stories there that exist with say the columbus blue jackets, but like 1000x the media, so...
and in there are a lot of literal tabloids like the toronto sun and all the crappy dailies etc who have zero qualms about running nonsense or just making stuff up. the fact that tsn and sportsnet also apparently get in on the act is super depressing
