Great night in Pittsburgh, nice of the Pens to send MAF off with a win.
12 games in, and twice the Pens have given up 3 goals. All other games they've given up more than that. They ****ing suck as well.
have been enjoying debrusk so far. also saw something about zadorov being bad so far in boston. not terribly surprised if that's the case, he's such a chaotic boom/bust player. maybe the canucks won that swap though
edit: actually maybe debrusk hasn't been good ..... he has popped a little on the eyetest tho

feel pretty confident that the habs will have a good pick again, whether they do anything with it who knows. just noticed that suzuki and caufield are already 24/25 years old, already aging out of this still ongoing rebuild. been there done that with the canucks

Haven't noticed Zadorov much, not sure if that's a good or bad thing. Bruins seem to be giving up a ton of chances in tight, you'd think he'd help with that given his size though maybe not given everything else. The one who looks really rancid is Marchand (yay for the rest of the league), his puck skills just seem gone.
Been wondering how deBrusk would do, he seems such a gritty guy and he is on the net front on the PP (not sure if the Nucks have use for him there), but at 5v5 he seems to get most of his offense off the rush. Maybe too much of the same for the Canucks.
Note that all these takes are eye test based and not verified by stats.
I hope the Habs pick 7th or something, seems like the highest they can reasonably go in the standings
