Good article about Coyotes trying to build a new arena. Tempe already turned them down. Phoenix doesn't want them and Scottsdale certainly doesn't either. If I was the owner, I'd peace out and move the team somewhere where I'm wanted.
Guarantee you the Austin/Round Rock/Cedar Park area would take them in a heartbeat. Don't know how the Stars would feel about that, but again there's plenty of places in the country that would be glad to have them.
As far as expansion goes, why would an owner want to start a new team here after seeing the way they have treated the Coyotes? Maybe there is behind the scenes stuff between the cities and the owner I don't know about.

yeah, arizona is a big market in the west which is why the bett man has been trying forever to make it work, but maybe for ****ing once take some time and get it sorted once and for all instead of constantly failing like this. and if the problem is that every city is wisely choosing not to invest more money in this bullshit and you can't find an owner willing to spend his own, then yeah, walk away and move the team to utah. and then the bett man can throw his dumb ass off a cliff into the grand canyon

Matt Tomkins. He is less than mid, but the team tends to play more defensively when he is in net. We shall see.
