i don't have it offhand but teams do play worse after a break
goals and heavy upsets are usually up at the start of the season and after any extended breaks
has an obvious sample size issue

Like when the NHL was doing bye weeks, I just blind bet every team coming off a break against a team that wasn’t and crushed, the NHL the next year stopped putting off break teams against ones who weren’t because the numbers were so skewed.

As someone cheering for the Rangers, this is the first game I thought they were going to lose before the game started. Think they win game 3 and 4 though.
