You just look at what they are doing to Leon . I saw one play 4 crosschecks in a row

All good clean hockey

you guys have been running so ridiculously good at getting prospects who can contribute right off the bat

Yep.

Logan Stankoven just turned 21 in February. He's tiny at 5'8" 170 lbs but skates like a water bug.

He’s a fearless puck-carrier, always driving the inside, and never shy about setting up shop near the net-front off of the puck. He plays a north-south game and always attacks at an unrelentingly high pace. The mechanics behind his shot are so clean, exerting downward force while pushing his top hand off his body. -EliteProspects 2021 NHL Draft Guide

Thomas Harley is 22 and is a well above average defenseman on his way to being elite and becoming more of a factor on offense.

May 9, 2024

Harley logged a shorthanded assist and four shots on goal in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Avalanche in Game 2.

ANALYSIS
Harley took a shot, and Tyler Seguin was able to knock in the rebound for the Stars' fourth goal. Both of Harley's helpers this postseason have come within the last three games. The 22-year-old blueliner is up to 18 shots on net, 24 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating while holding down a top-four role through nine playoff contests. Dallas has leaned heavily on its top defensemen, so Harley should continue to see massive minutes even if he's not a significant factor on offense.

Miro Heiskanen is 24. QUOTE says sums it up pretty nicely.

An elite two-way defenceman in the making, Miro Heiskanen has a toolbox bursting at the seams. Very smooth skater whose general agility and athleticism is excellent and on display every shift. A confident puck mover with no issues running a play himself and starting a transition up-ice. Solid creativity and impressive puck skills. Always makes the high percentage play and doesn't put teammates in dangerous or vulnerable positions. Willingness to play a physical game is not an issue, as he is often seen throwing the body. Defensively very diligent and proactive, keeping the opposition to the outside and cutting off open and common lanes.

Jake Oettinger turned 25 back in December. Holding the Avalanche to 1 goal in each of the last 2 games on their home ice is all you need to know.

And 22 year old Mavrik Bourgue is waiting in the wings.

His hockey IQ is unreal. Out of nothing, he’s going to make plays that on one else can see on the ice. Bourque is very effective at putting the puck at the proper space so he can protect the puck. He’s so good at bringing defenders to him. With the occasional head fake or a change of speed; he's shown a real knack for luring defencemen out of passing lanes. -EliteProspects 2020 NHL Draft Guide

The future is bright, especially if these kids continue to get even better. Should be fun and I'm lucky to be here for it.

Pickard gets the nod.

Bruins oughta go Ullmark, but they won't. imo Ullmark should've played g1 (only a 1 day rest after 7 games vs Leafs), g3/g4. Only game imo it made sense to stick with Swayman this series was game 2, after he had a good performance in game 1.

It was me. I'm beginning to sense you have a bit of a problem with any enforcement of rules that doesn't personally benefit you.

probably not even any kind of joke from the guy trying to argue that the loilers should get 20 powerplays every game, lolberta clearly sending their best and brightest here

and 2 of those posts were about quinn hughes getting slashed in the ****ing face, so ... good point? i guess that's not a penalty after all... jfc literally no brain

Just bet Stars cup at +230, so will be rooting for that.

They're not getting out of the west. GG

every team in that central bracket is better than every team in the pacific one, the stars will smoke the loilers in 5 prob, after the bett man rigs them over the canucks in 7. book it

hopefully stars/panthers is a good series tho

Geez the Leafs billionaire not slowing down, we getting into the WNBA now in a couple of years and now he wants to buy some French soccer team.

edit:

Also lol angry 72off :P

Forgive 72o, he's really out of practice with this whole "Playoffs" thing

it's true, i haven't actually cared about hockey in like 10 years. wasn't planning on it this year either, but these loilers have really pissed me off, caught me off guard. annoying

I for one love 72off, well mostly.😉

seriously wtf are these refs doing? that is 1000% goalie interference

that makes 1 of you. i'll take it

that makes 1 of you. i'll take it[/QUOTE]

We all love you, just never saw you going full Priz.

1st penalty van-edm is cross-checking...they must read this forum

i like how they just take 2 minutes to drop the puck for no reason every time mcdrai need a rest but want to stay out there. they even ran that goalie swap bullshit last game that has been a delay of game penalty for like 5 years now. totally not rigged

serious question: does draisaitl ever shut the **** up? he might yap more than anyone itl, it's wild

evander kane legitimately does not have a brain

lol. winning this game would be so ****ing funny. one time

edit: welp

I also reported that post since it was blatantly over-the-line.

Anyway, Oilers Stars gonna be a great series. Canucks heater is over.

I agree it was very funny how they pretended to give the Canuckleheads hope then pulled out their barely breathing heart and showed it to them before stomping on it.

MOAR IAN COLE

(ps another game where despite being massively outshot and outplayed, the Canucks had more powerplays as continued proof of 72offs theory that the league favors the Oilers)

Same here, and I was about to post I remember when he was a Mod, but then I checked the Reg dates and Holy **** it's all '04s and '05s itt. The newbies are '11. Wtf

I'm also mostly of German descent, and sorry, WWII is still fair game. Kill that many innocents and you deserve it for at least 100 years.

Thought Colorado would win the series or at least close, kinda surprising.

For any sports cards people 2024-25 UpperDeck is October 9th, I am meh on the young guns design, look basic at first glance but simple may work too. Couple new inserts and portraits are different, it's kinda cool how they did them but another meh not sure.
