Had a wine tasting last night starting at 7pm that my lady friend wanted to go to. Before that me and the boys played foosball starting at 2pm with copious amounts of Coors Lights involved. I knew we were riding with another couple, so I my alcohol filter was turned to off.
The game was on in the bar area at the tasting, so did catch the 1st period before getting home around 10pm, upon which I poured myself in bed, instead of pouring myself another drink and trying to finish the game.
Glad I did as there is no way I would have made it thru 2 OTs. Finished it this morning and man what a white knuckle ride. Playoff hockey is the best! Especially when your team emerges as the victor. And agree that the goalie interference call was BS. Congrats to the Stars for taking it in stride and overcoming it.
Stars finally get a well deserved rest after playing essentially every other day after going 7 with Vegas. Not to mention my pre-season bet for a hundo at 14-1 is still live even though I hedged $200 at even money on the Avs before the series started. Still got $1200 in EV to play with, but I don't think I'll hedge against whoever gets through the Oilers/Canucks series.

Fun Fact: The Stars have lost their last 6 game one games in the playoffs.
