Mcdavid has the Conn locked down. Votes need to be in by like end of second. It would take utter heroics from barkov/bob in first 2 periods to get the vote. Mcdavid might win unanimously even in a loss.

i think deadline is actually 10 min left in the 3rd, they can also put in contingencies - ie if game is tied they can write "mcdavid but it goes to barkov if he scores the winning goal"

i don't have any positions on this but have researched it heavily for betting purposes, definitely missed a huge opportunity on mcdavid, bob was the betting favorite until very late which was just lol because barring some sort of insanely good performances to close it out there was no way he's getting it

It's not nba. It's based on the whole playoffs, not just the finals.

Unlike the playoff MVP awards presented in the other major professional sports leagues of the United States and Canada (the Super Bowl MVP, the NBA Finals MVP, the MLS Cup MVP and the World Series MVP), the Conn Smythe is based on a player's performance during the entire NHL postseason instead of just the championship game or series.

huh ... what a world

yeah it's def joever then, no way anyone else is taking it. even though bouchard maybe had a better playoffs

If Edmonton loses then it will be a national embarrassment for Canada.

na

However the odds of them losing now are miniscule. This is going to be an all-timer we tell people about when we're old. Just the best finals of all time.

Ah no LOL. We have Trudeau for that.

Has it been though? None of the games have been that close outside of game 3 and 5…I get that the Florida collapse thing happened…but I just think the fact that Florida has blown this so badly has made it seem better than it actually has been. Only one game has ended up a one goal game, no OT games…it’s not as good as you’re making it out to be honestly.

Game 7 is going to be historic. And also many of the 3-1 games ended 5-1 with empty net kind of thing. Still closer than indicated.

This has definitely not been the best series of all time, despite it being an insane 3-0 comeback, the games have not been all that great honestly, how many games have had lead changes, one?

yeah, hopefully there's a good game 7 at least

Reminds me of 2011 a bit (sorry 72o) with the circumstances being very memorable while the games for themselves don't offer much suspense

Game 1 was pretty good though, clear scoreline but everyone pulled their hair out for 40 minutes with the Oil dominating but Bob standing on his head
