That out of town energy won't abate.

What tosserishness.

I’m actually surprised (in a good way) that he’s putting in the level of effort to take two classes a week in German. I bet that’s a lot more than a lot of players do.

Someone can correct me but I’ve heard that the most difficult thing about German is the grammar. Obviously he’s not going to be running errands or grabbing a pint in town where most normal people pick up the bulk of daily use language stuff but I expect being immersed in the dressing room he’d en

Assuming he has max 5 years for Bayern and he'll return home once he's gotten a few trophies over there, I would not bother learning German in his spot.

It's already a shame that you have so much $$$ that you can't enjoy to the fullest in your peak years because your time is being taken by training/travel/media/playing but if on top of that you have to invest multiple hours a week for a language with little reusability when you can get around just fine does not seem like an interesting proposition to me

But props to him although his English is probably not understandable to the english-speakers

In general I'd say i'm positively impressed with footballers ability to learn the local language

BAIDS pretty obv working for that casino to encourage poor thread regs to chase a score.

In B4 he posts about his system that knows which obscure matches are rigged.

i do actually have a highly effective Secret System which results in costless currency

its cricket, william hill, and its a very specific set of circumstances

must be the first innings of an ODI match, and you have to know that its going to rain at some point such that the number of overs in the first innings will end up being reduced due to bad weather

the bet is placed on the number of runs which the batting team will score. william hill offer three bandings which look something like this:

under 240 runs (2/1)
240 to 260 inclusive (6/4)
over 260 runs (2/1)

bet whatever the over is.

here's the scam part:

will hill offer an in-play cashout option on this type of bet.

if the batting team gets on a roll, your in-play cashout option will increase in value and you'll be able to get out for a profit. if the batting team stinks, you keep your bet on and wait for the rain to arrive. once the umpires make the decision to reduce the number of overs, your bet is void and you get your money back

its a freeroll except in the rare circumstance that the batting team gets bowled out before the rain arrives

note that you cant do this with the over/under line, it has to be with the 3 bandings thing. this is because the over/under market does not offer a cash out option

proud to say that i figured this one out all by myself, top 3 lifetime accomplishment

I miss Bill Fillmaff's Secret System

Bring back the 2+2 fat blokes pub gambling thing imo

fat blokes was the most fun i had at 2p2

**** that. Always a foul on the keeper

I agree. I wouldn’t have given that goal. He even looked before backing in.
A Burnley win would really have made things interesting.

JJ Watt did seem rustled on X

Poker playing Natalie Bromley is the one I follow for Burnley opinion. Other than TP, obviously.

Doubt he's as rustled as I am. Disgusting decision. I've seen some shockers in my time but this was horrible.

Pochettino said: “It’s the first half. Because after only 90 minutes we are losing. If you see how many Premier League teams have gone out of cup competitions to Middlesbrough. [Moises] Caicedo was telling me ‘oh we lost last season to Middlesbrough with Brighton’.

Brighton won 5-1 at Middlesbrough last season.

So if I've got this Kyle Walker timeline right:
- Meets his partner as a teenager, has three children
- Caught having sex with a reality TV star in his car, gets kicked out of his house
- Just after being forgiven and moving back in has an affair with an influencer and has a love child
- Gets caught hiring two prostitutes during COVID
- His partner takes him back, they get married
- Whips his junk out at a bar and makes out with a random woman
- Has a second love child with the same woman who gave birth to his first love child

I'm usually not one for celeb gossip but that is incredible

- apparently his wife is currently pregnant

Honestly I'm surprised more footballers don't leave a genetic legacy to rival Genghis Khan.

Rich mad shaggers choosing to get married, sometimes numerous times, always makes me laugh. I thought I knew how to piss money away.

Arteta should be fired and banished from the football community.

I don't think the Luton one is a foul or there would even be any discussion if you replace the goalkeeper with a centre half but given the protection they get and what we've come to expect, I would think it would be given 90+% of the time.

I agree.

looks like henderson is going to juve. shame, i really wanted that bellend to rot in saudis for the length of his contract

idiotic. either move and stay for 2 years and collect the seventy million quid tax free, or dont move. this is the worst of both worlds

I love how he destroyed his social/moral warrior status for 6 months of desert league wages.
