Clearly not guilty.
Lmao City suing the EPL for discrimination. What absolute bosses
Are we going to adopt the Diet Pepsi moniker for Maresca next season?
Not according to me. That said he was noticeably worse the last two years he's just an elite finisher.
One of his down years looks like it can just be talked up to his hernia that he got fixed after the season. The best case realistically is you get production out of son in a striker role which delays his decline some since he doesnt have to do as much running as he would as a winger.
How we laughed.
Maupay is Jamie Vardy without the talent
Clearly he wants a transfer to Banter FC.
I can only assume Maguire is injured,
We take the piss out of him, but he leaves a big hole in the squad and not having Branthwaite there means the narrative now moves from who plays at left back to who partners Stones (if he's fit)
I hope it's Guehi and not Dunk.
Final squad
Branthwaite might have had a hope if he wasn't coached by Sean dyche. Not going to take a guy in the bottom 15% of virtually all passing metrics to a major international tournament unless you are a 150/1 shot.
His passing game might be decent but would understandably be rusty given he hardly ever uses it when you compare him to someone like Dunk.
Can Declan Rice play center-back? Sliding Bellingham back into Rice's position where he used to play in Dortmund, and having something like Bellingham-Gallagher/Palmer-Foden-Kane-Saka front 6
Yes he can but it's like putting a Ferrari engine in a Fiat 500.
That Sean Dyche coached team had the 4th best defence in the league, only behind Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool.
I've said before and I'll say again, I'd be happy if England lined up with Branthwaite and Tarkowski in front of Pickford.
everton's midfielders are banned from leaving their own half, leading to few goals conceded (4th) and fewer goals scored (19th)

That's fine if the plan is Hump it to Harry. I mean you won't beat anyone decent but at least it will be terrible to watch.
I mean MacGyver the back 5, Rice sitting, Kane up top then Foads/Palmer/Jude/Saka in some order in between and play Keeganball is surely the correct move

Anyone watching The Soccer Tournament (TST). Needs its own thread! Sergio Aguero has a team and is playing, and looks round, for example...

i enjoy the target score theory in the basketball tournament. but for soccer it's kinda wonky. but as americans, we love a golden goal/bucket ending over a running out the clock, that's for sure.
i've just been watching youtubeZ highlights. i haven't looked at the team rosters or anything. i dont really understand how the teams are tied to the likes of bayern/dortmund and the like.
Yes
