2022-2023 Saw Manchester City’s Death Star become fully operational winning the Premier League with 89 points by e
Sometimes I have to remind myself that it’s plop that I’m watching as I start quite liking them when I just watch them play football.
Would love to see Ducky on here if Arse hadn’t got the penalty we had turned down against Burnley.
Yeah of course we want a draw. As it stands Arsenal would have to win away at City, United, Spurs and Brighton and at home against Chelsea as well as some other tricky fixtures, to be sure of winning the title (ie unless City drop other points). Too much too soon.
Haha nice backpass.
oh dear Ake oh dear Ederson
Oof Diaz has to score that.
Diaz u bum
wow, KdB off is surprising. at least this early. stark contrast to plop bringing on salah.
that was a handball on foden anyways
Football is the absolute worst broadcast sport. Stupid replays and we miss a lot of live play, sometimes almost miss goals. Are broadcasters incapable of using Picture in Picture?
That was a stonewall pen at the end, VAR officials bank account needs checking for bribes
Haaland was completely invisible
Excellent entertainment and excellent result 10/10
What a great game, might've been a draw but football won
So I didn't watch the game, but was that clear riggage for City by not giving Plop a pen at the end?
Not really it was one of those that's not going to be overturned either way imo
That's a pen, don't give a **** if he got the ball, that's a high foot and given as a free kick anywhere else on the pitch
Lots of fouls are given as free kicks anywhere else on the pitch.
Can't believe people have been watching football so long and don't know there's a different standard applied to penalty area fouls.
I'd say refs are pretty consistently applying a higher standard for the definition of a foul inside the area than outside it, and I'm happy with it because a FK isn't the same as a PK ldo.
People love football for its fluidity and don't want four penalties every game. Neither do they want upfield fouls to go unpunished. Status quo is a happy medium.
If players commit four fouls in the area during the game then there should be four penalties in the game and no amount of imagining that the italicised in "A penalty kick is awarded if a player commits a direct free kick offence inside their penalty area unless it's this sort of foul then thisisfinedog.jpg and get on with it" exists within the laws of the game changes that
