NCAA Football 2023 Season Megathread
Figured I would get this thing started since a mod still hasn’t changed the title of the 2022 thread. Let’s just start o
Championship drive right here. Make it happen Michigan.
Death by a thousand conservative play calls
****ing keep the ball JJ
so weird
I expected this game to be Washington's epic offense trading blows with Michigan's epic defense, and then in between you get to watch Michigan's mediocre offense against Washington's mediocre defense
Instead, Michigan's offense has busted some huge plays, then Washington's defense has responded with incredible defensive stops. Defensive backs on an island making great plays, tacklers in space bringing the heat, etc
And then when Washington has the ball, Michigan's left guys wide open and then Washington has failed to capitalize, and the turnover Michigan generated was just some random goofball luckbox
Edit: I guess Michigan's d-line has played pretty great, completely stopping the run and pressuring Penix with just four guys is pretty tough
god damn that screen pass another touchdown playcall from washington that just gets randomly blown up by a guy falling in exactly the right spot
Lot of jersey grabbing on the M2M routes.
jesus ****ing christ
probably the best pass penix has thrown all night and the guy drops it
This is going to be the worst championship game that came down to the final drive I’ve ever seen
For ****’s sake
Meditate on that, ***hole.
I think Washington will go for 2 on the outside chance they cut it to 20-19. Would be epic and make sense.
**** this is so stressful
My cable has been uninterrupted during this thunderstorm.
I may request a billing adjustment from Comcast this month.
It's feeling a bit like Bama/Texas where Bama slammed it in twice late after the comeback.
Man Georgia definitely got robbed lol
Just wait until Michigan has to play a REAL offense they said. They won't be able to just run, run, punt their way to victory like they do vs Iowa and Penn State, they said!
I have never seen Washington's offense this out of sync
multiple missed reads for wide open wrs, multiple missed passes on wide open wrs, multiple drops
feels like they've left about 5 touchdowns on the field so far
And there's your game changing holding call after not calling much worse all night. Thanks refs
feels like Michigan breaks a big one here
I just cannot believe holding wasn't called on that first play. Absolute horse ****
that feels like about the 10th hold michigan has gotten away with, just brutal
