Cal came back from 20 down to beat Colorado last night

back to back P12 wins

We have had SIX rotation players miss significant time this year

Currently 128th in Kenpom, have not cracked the top-100 in SEVEN YEARS

Not to rain on your fun, but the BUFFS suck a** on the road so nothing to get excited about if you are a Cal fan. Yes I'm pissed if u couldn't tell as I'm so sick of this s**t.

Been watching this BUFFS team do the same s**t year after year under Tad Boyle - good at home, blow game after game on the road in the 2nd half. To the point this has cost them years of NCAA tourney bids. And they have had NBA-level talent on the team past & present. I really don't know how to explain it other than he must give the worst HT speeches in history and makes zero adjustments 2nd half. Giving up 56 points in the 2nd half to Cal is pathetic and inexcusable.

ok at least lol UCLA...wtf

and Santa Clara beats Gonzaga (as a home dog) for the first time in 13 years.

ranked road favs = road kill the last 7 days.

It can't be that bad...

(looks up score)

0.636 ppp on offense

is that good?

Cronin hating go the gym every day right about now

I’m impressed that Gonzaga manages to start 3 guards and none of them can shoot, like at all. How do you go from having tons of nba talent to this so quickly. They’re drawing dead to keep their tourney streak alive unless they win the wcc tourney.

buddy, we went 3-29 last year

impossible to rain on our fun lol

UNC should move up to 4/5 range on KenPom after that drubbing

Top 5 here we come.

JMO but the 4 best teams that I've seen are Uconn, Kentucky, UNC, and Arizona. 2 of UNC's 3 losses is to 2 of those. Gonna be fitting if it ends up UNC vs Arizona for the natty.

Houston and Arizona, then UConn, then a few teams imo

Jesus our 2pt% must be elite to constantly force this bad of 3pt shooting.

Last 4 games:

Cuse 4-19 21.1%
NCST 2-21 9.5%
Clemson 1-18 5.6%
Pitt 5-29 17.2%

Oklahoma was 5% below their season average
Kentucky 5% below their season average
Uconn close to 5% below their season average

UK just beat us on the offensive glass. Uconn points off turnovers. If they played again UNC/UK is a coinflip. Vs Uconn I see a repeat of game 1 happening.

Well UK game just had one of the biggest bullshit I've seen in quite sometime. UK player goes up for a layup and gets blocked. Ball goes to a UK player who is in perfect position to put the ball back in. But the block was called a goaltend. But goaltends aren't reviewed until the break. If you are going to review goaltends do them immediately.

Worse than scoring a bucket after the shot clock violation has gone off?

Purdue UConn and Zona are in a league of their own. Then probably Illinois if they get Shannon back. Maybe Houston since the metrics love them.

TIL It's possible to score 5 points on one play.

Refs on the Utah St. payroll no question. Even Duke in Coach K's prime didn't get riggage like this.

Wildcats have developed Buffaloitis...great at home, trash on the road in conference. Like seriously, they've now lost consecutive PAC-12 road games as a 12 & 10 pt. fav. after annihilating everyone at home. No explanation.

Yes I know you are trying to triggering me, and triggering is successful.

Funny enough after that NCAA changed the rule from that shittery to allow for more replay.

Apparently the rule you can review a goal tend during break is new this season, but it is clearly ****ing broken

and no I'm not blaming that call on UK's loss, UK actually benefited from some horrendous calls to keep them in the game late

but that rule is ****ing terrible

I love to chit on Cal, but it's hard not to admit that of any team this season UK seems to have the highest upside come March if they can put it all together. I've read Dillingham compared to Kemba Walker. IMO he reminds me of Monk with all his crazy 3s. Sheppard is such a luxury of a guy off the bench for big minutes with his shooting. I could go on, but this UK team is really freaking good.

UNC is maxed at what they'll be IMO outside of Washington getting more minutes and his 3pt shot being utilized. That and Cormac Ryan rediscovering his 3pt shot. Outside of that every player is exactly who they are and have always been (and it's really good). Cadeau shows little chance to ever be a 3pt threat this year. Trimble keeps getting better and better the more he plays. If their max is a close loss to UK, and a loss to UConn then it's good enough for hopefully a deep run.

Purdue will need to avoid a team with a starting 5 of:

5'9
5'8
6'4
6'4
6'7

fwiw, NCSU's head coach was ejected in the 1st half of this game

Cal up 4 with 10 seconds left, loses again

falls to 0-7 in games decided by 3 or fewer / overtime
