Kentucky wins 105-96 today vs. Georgia

when I saw that score, I was certain it had gone to multiple OT

nope, that is a regulation score

NBA players!

Z

Dude didn't even know he was going to be able to play Friday. Good god what a debut. UK is subpar defensively, but man can they score.

UK legend, on UK legend, praising Z

Hey, chuck is in that shot!

a spicy week of ACC action w more middle finger salutes last night from the despicable "Cameron Crazies" as Pitt notched their first win at HIS since 1979

RJ Davis' last 4 games:

23.8 PPG

52% FG%

50% 3P%

4.5 RPG

3.5 APG

i love the guards from NY state pipeline to Chapel Hill. RJ one in a long line

In the running for conference and national POY.

Yeah he's a lock for first team all American. If not the very best guard in the nation, certainly in the small group of them.

mississippi valley st. loses tonight to fall to 0-19

they're not even the worst team record-wise out there

detroit mercy is 0-20

fun fact: according to sources, there have only been 2 men's teams that have gone winless in the modern era:

new jersey tech 2007-2008
grambling 2012-2013

I don't really have a point, just more of a FYI thing on a dead night

Fanduel has RJ Davis as second most likely to win the Wooden award...

at +2600...

lol at the look #33 shot at his teammate after that ill-advised foul

It's hard to take UK seriously as a title contender because of the defense, but they'll be a fun a team.

Yep...

This year UK has to be one of the most "Can beat anyone, and can lose to anyone" teams of all time.

You absolutely do not want UK in your bracket, and yet you also won't be shocked if they somehow lose round 1.

Reminds me a lot of the Nate Oats Alabama teams of late.

Because of their style it feels like the outcome of the game is way more dependent on how Alabama plays than how the other team plays.

Kentucky between a very high ceiling on offense coming from shooting and defensive effort varying wildly game to game feels like that type of team.

The last 3 Beilein years at WV were pretty incredible.

They shot a billion threes and ran a full court 1-3-1 press the entire game. The other team would get a bunch of wide open dunks regardless of who they were, but they would also commit a bunch of turnovers. If WV made their threes, they were gonna win, if they didn't, they were gonna lose.

Their kenpom year end rankings were 35, 16 and 33. Their Kenpom rating was never that good because they didn't dominate bad teams (and even lost to sub-200 marshall twice), but for a team ranked in the 30s they absolutely could win any game they were in. They didn't actually LOSE that many games to bad teams, but they definitely could've, they would consistently beat godawful teams by like 4 points (hence their mid-30s rantings)

They were 5-5 against top-10 teams, and they were 14-5 in postseason play, coming up one shot short of the final 4 and elite 8 and then winning the NIT.

NCSU hitting a new low at UVa in the 1st half:

0.514 ppp

also, UVa had a 59.1 OR%

Kevin Keatts is not a winner.

It's going to be hard for NCSU to ever get lower than this...

I can't remember which one of these it was but I remember in whichever game it was the UNC crowd laughing and mocking NCST so hard that when they finally hit a shot the entire crowd let out a big "HEYYYYY" like you finally do it. Jay Bilas at the half started it off and said "That was the absolute worst half of basketball I've ever seen."

I think it was 2008 as it seems like it was Sidney Lowe but 2017 was equally hilarious.

If there is one school you can count on to continue to outdo prior failures, it's lolstate.
