Congrats to the ducks as well.

Wonder what seed all these bid stealers will get.

Poor bubble teams with all the bid stealing.

Oregon, NC State, and probably New Mexico were all on the wrong side of the bubble entering the week.

add whatever climbs out of the primordial ooze to win the AAC & A10.

virginia probably has a death wish for north carolina and the BUFFS (horrific embarrassing performance tonight btw) right now...I think they are the last team out\

new mexico most likely was always in once they reached with MWC final with their NET rating.

gonna be an interesting bubble sweat tomorrow evening.

NOTE: Joe Linardi just posted his updated Bracketology. The BUFFS went from a 10 seed to the 67th team in in a day. Crazy day.

Yeah I saw someone mention on Twitter that they think we may have a 10 seed play in game. That's crazy.

fun ending to today's games:

FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT

Grand Canyon guy could have dribbled out the clock with 3 seconds left and the game well in hand. Instead he does a tomahawk dunk and flexes to the crowd. Subsequently UTA gets a double technical for 1. one guy throws a body-block on the dunker when he is running up court and 2. the in-bounder fires the ball as hard as he can at the dunker and plunks him.

Isn't Grand Canyon supposed to be a Christian "be a good human being" school? Lol...I actually agree with what the UTA guys did. Why not?

it's looking that way according to Linardi's brackets.

Grand Canyon Online University is trying to buy its way into being the new Gonzaga

Temple makes the tournament after point-shaving incident.

Long Beach makes the tournament with a coach they already fired.

And everyone’s darling Indiana State gets bubbled out

the top 16 seeds this morning in the matrix

all 4 teams on the top line are secure

could Illinois move one of UK or dook to the fourth line?

Feels like a weaker than normal year for the lower seeds. I think there's a lot of variance in terms of teams that can give a high seed a run.

On the 13/14 line I'd be way more scared to play Yale, Samford, or Oakland than Vermont or Colgate.

I was under the impression the four 1s were locked in. Rothbot appears to think Iowa State may grab the fourth one.

it's called click bait Redd

Borzello out here doing the same thing

would be a disgrace to elevate Iowa St to the top line when they weren't even in the discussion a few days ago and UNC played in their conference's title game

but who knows. crazier things have happended in the world of sports

of note: Iowa St played in nine Quad 4 games (26% of their games). nine. tied for most of those teams ranked in the top 15 of the Net

I also can't help but feel like conference expansion has killed the conference tourneys.

When you're playing a true round robin, the seeding feels earned in a way it just doesn't now.

Thur-Sat at MSG for Big East tournament is still amazing. But to your point, Big East is also playing a round robin schedule.

UConn beating #2 UNC in Boston would be nice payback for 1998 Elite 8 in Greensboro. But that's also getting way ahead of ourselves.

I actually thought all four of the 1s and 2s were dead set.

UConn, Purdue, Houston, UNC

Tennessee, Iowa State, Marquette, Zona

The 3s and 4s may have some wiggle room

Iowa State has the better resume for a 1 seed (if we do a generic top 5 team analysis like GB does in football) but the name recognition and late push will hurt them.

Definitely one of the more absurd things I’ve seen

‘Hey you’re fired’

‘But go ahead and finish out the Big West tourney before you go’

‘****’

I'm going to be vaguely sad if st John's misses the tourney even though I don't care about the team at all but I'd be more entertained if they were in.

Plus they played UConn really tough and seem to be playing vaguely well.

I agree. Beating up on SHU in what seemed like a play-in game, then putting up 90 against Uconn Friday after averaging 64.5 in their first two UConn games was impressive.

If you told me UConn was going to score 95 points there, I literally would have bet my house on them covering -9.

Florida and Auburn both look like **** today

a gutsy hire by tOSU's new AD

5 yrs no less

Poor Brown, kinda collapsed at the end

Poor Brown, kinda collapsed at the end

Doesn't seem advisable to leave a dude unguarded on the low block on the final possession

I feel like it's a thing teams do when they think time will run out "soon".

I wonder what could have possibly knocked the wind out of their sails
