This is one of the worst jobs I've ever seen from the committee. I don't normally subscribe to conference bias or name bias but it's pretty clear that's going on. When one of the committee members was asked about the Mountain West's seeds he said "they didn't win enough out of conference." Do these guys even watch the games? They had some big wins out of conference including pounding Creighton (a 3 seed) twice, St. Mary's, Gonzaga, etc. They also did a lot of dumb stuff like giving Florida At

Yeah but the seedings have to get rigged around to make things work. It's inevitable. The much bigger thing is who is in and who isn't issues, don't you think?

If Kentucky and Auburn were flipped out would be pretty ok. Maybe Marquette and Iowa State as well

it's wild that the East region has the top ranked #1, #2, #3 and #4 seeds by WAB

it really is a super stacked region

Well I guess St. Johns won't be winning the NIT. It occurred to me that it isn't auto they'll go after they missed out on the Big Dance, and I'll be darned, here it is. So I'll take Pitino to Final Four in the next three years, probably two. Reminds me of ten years ago or so I was in my doctor's office. Dude played against Bill Walton out in Cali. Sick.

So I told him Louisville was titling that year. He listened then responded with who he thought was going to win it. I said, "No. You didn't hear me right. I didn't say my pick was Louisville, I said they are titling this year." He laughed. The Little General, GOAT college coach candidate, had been at UofL for more than 10 years at that point, but had not won a Final Four game there. That's kind of akin to Vince Lombardi or Nick Saban just not getting close to a title game. "He's winning two this year," was my quote about Pitino that year.

They had sick guard play and several close calls without winning a Final Four game. Lost in the FF to rival UK the year before. They were so, so ripe. And they did it.

It was a clean block :(:(:(

is north carolina gonna be able to stop mighty wagner?

good NIT ending on ESPNU

B.C. beating Providence by two w two mins left

lol at Providence not fouling

Big East bitching about their number of bids and start postseason play 0-2

the mighty ACC 1-0

I will not take anyone lightly.

Rick Pitino has to be pissed watching this UVa performance

get this wretched program out of the ACC

UVa goes the last 9:20 of the first half without scoring a point

Damn, still pretty far away from one point a minute.

JFC Virginia. 14 ****ing points at the half. Even by your standards that is something. Go replace this Virginia team at half with any other bubble team

0.49 ppp

pathetic

Virginia just ended a 12 minute scoring drought

UVA is the Iowa football of cbb

The only thing I hate more than Spero Dedes is Virginia basketball. I’m glad I chose to skip this game.

Easy to make the argument UVA was never in the tournament.

I got a text that VA had 14 at half and suspected they were playing so slow that they probably had about 15 shots, if that. But that wasn't the problem. They had 29 FG attempts in that first half. It was just horrendous shooting, not archaic basketball so much apparently.

Maybe the worst team ever included in the tourney

UVa now 211th in ADJOE

is that good?

also ended their season 4-6 over the final ten games

Did the committee shills say anything about the Mountain West getting boned?

CBS needs to go back to this Theme Song immediately.
