After Curry/Klay, the rest of those guys are basically "Throw your hands up in the air" when it comes to figuring out who to play to be fair

Kerr should tape a cheat sheet to his wrist like an NFL QB. And the only thing written on it should be "Don't sit the guys who fueled your huge run in favor of a bunch of old guys who can't score."

The only young player who got minutes in the second half of the fourth quarter last night was Trayce Jackson-Davis, who I like but who also cannot score. It was a comprehensive effort at putting a team on the floor that could not score. The only additional thing Kerr could have done down the stretch to ensure that the team did not score would have been to sit Curry in favor of Cory Joseph.

And Draymond is more essential than Klay when both are healthy and available.

by Rococo k

This is the most predictable development imaginable.

https://theathletic.com/5181608/2024/01/...

Unreal.

And Dray is set to get back into the building.

Steve has already made the call. Shouldn't have broken the code Kuminga

On Kuminga, does he look taller this year to anyone? I recall him looking much shorter during that finals run

Pacers are on another one. Gonna be 6 straight wins?

Haliburton with 18 assists in 24 min. Problem is their winning by 34, so his night is likely done with Boston in town tomorrow (who's also waffle stomping the Jazz)

Another 150 point game with only one player cracking 20 ... this one by the Pacers. It helps to have 11 guys score 7 or more, I guess.

And wow, the Knicks blow the Sixers off the court by 36 in Philly with Randle going 1-11 and Embiid and Maxey having pretty good games. Is the whole thing just who's hot from 3 now?

Bogdanovic looks like a weekend dad who just got laid off from his job at the cracker factory

Knicks played a better game and shut down a top 3 offensive juggernaut in the league.

I don't give a **** what anybody says, the trade was exactly what this team needed and the Knicks are a clear contender.

Jokic is incredible, but this loss was on Kerr. I'm done with him. He needs to retire or take on a different role in the organization a la Brad Smith.

He is constitutionally incapable of playing young players at the end of games. Finishing that game last night with a lineup of Curry, Klay, Chris Paul, Looney, and Wiggins was absurd. That team looked old and played old down the stretch. We can debate whether that lineup is the Warriors best defensive lineup against the Nuggets. I don't think

I’m really glad the kerr ain’t **** train is finally picking up steam

I have never in my life seen a head coach who was so completely and utterly unwilling to even try to develop talent

Kerr has been around since 2014 and of all their draft picks since I guess their best one has been Poole? And he blows

Bell, paschall I felt like showed flashes but never really got solid looks cuz hurr durr kerr

Wiseman was a fiasco

Who the **** knows why moody and Kuminga are just despised

I like TSG and podz but I extremely do not like that kerr is the one dictating their minutes and is probably looking for any reason to send TSG to Santa Cruz so ‘he can get playing time’ while barely beating detroit at home

**** this guy

You can just parlay Eastern and western conference winners, you can get +11800 for Mia+okc on FanDuel right now

Thanks. FD still isn't legal in my backwards state so I'll have to get a friend to do it for me.

OKC has fallen down by like 55 points combined in the last two games against bad teams. I guess they're not immune to schedule losses - 7 games in 11 days with a bunch of travel right after the holidays. They're about to play 7 in 11 days again with the final one coming @Utah. Seems like brutal scheduling to me, is 7 in 11 more common than I think it is?

Warriors fans should start a go fund me to buy a shock collar for Kerr to wear that goes off anytime Wiggins and Looney are playing together in non-garbage time.

Also the Pacers had FIFTY assists last night. I don't remember ever seeing that, but I just looked up the record and it's 53.

Wiseman was a fiasco

Wiseman was a bad draft pick, but once he was on the team, developing him with game time was a tough situation to manage because the team was so so much worse with him on the floor.

Guy is such a loser he has to live in a duplex and can't even afford a single family home.

I like TSG and

Kerr ****ed up not playing Kaminga late against the Nuggets (though Wiggins was playing well and helped fuel the run that got the lead), but you're not watching Warriors basketball if you don't think the kids are getting runs at the moment.

Kaminga, Pods and TJD have all been starting games.

Pods is averaging 28 minutes a game in his last 22 games.
Kaminga is averaging 27 minutes a game in his last 14 games.
TDJ is averaging 23 minutes a game over his last 9 games.

Meanwhile

Wiggins is averaging 24 minutes a game in the last 10 games
Looney is averaging 17 minutes a game in the last 16 games

Moody is the only one getting screwed over at the moment (was playing well), but you can't play everyone.

Also, let me know how awesome Bell and Wiseman have been since they left the Warriors.

As for Paschall. He was only relevant at the Warriors (All NBA rookie second team), and was out of the league one year after the Warriors traded him (after only 3 seasons in the league).

If Shai is a young Jordan, what is Haliburton?

by King~of~Diamonds k

If Shai is a young Jordan, what is Haliburton?

a big Nash is the most common comparison i've heard, will defer to RT who watches him a lot more

I'm down on this **** Steve Kerr train.

Dude lost the Fiba Cup!

It was all his fault.

also lost nba finals to teams from cleveland & canadia, who does that? pathetic

by King~of~Diamonds k

If Shai is a young Jordan, what is Haliburton?

Yeah it's Nash, if Nash was allowed/encouraged to shoot more in his prime.

He's not CP3 because CP3 was a better defender. And he's not Magic because of the size difference.

He's "just" the new-age Nash with somehow better control.

someone should make a Haliburton gimmick account.

He'd be closer to CP3 as a defender than to Nash, surely? Nash was diabolical on that end. Haliburton seems more just "typical bad like most PG" D to me. But I obv watch nowhere near as much as you

Hallivburton is a liability on defense. Boston just went at him.

He's smart. His basi move is a slow dribble that he copied from Luka but it works. He's a good passer.

Haliburton is just modern day Isiah with range extended to the 3 point line to match the modern game.
