Lettuce NBA!
and lettuce lol @ James Harden
Isiah hartenstein is going to be starting someplace next year on a team. He had 19 rebounds 2 games ago and 20 last night.
Kings 0-4 vrs. the Pels, and an ugly 0-4.
Should've bet the house. Kings were -2.5 lol
He'd be closer to CP3 as a defender than to Nash, surely? Nash was diabolical on that end. Haliburton seems more just "typical bad like most PG" D to me. But I obv watch nowhere near as much as you
Haliburton is just modern day Isiah with range extended to the 3 point line to match the modern game.
Cherry-picked career stats to help illustrate the point:
Isiah Thomas: 18.1 PER, 51.6% TS, 2.46 A/T, .109 WS/48, 2.4/0.2 O/DBPM
Chris Paul: 24.1 PER, 58.1% TS, 4.01 A/T, .234 WS/48, 4.9/2.1 O/DBPM
Steve Nash: 20.0 PER, 60.5% TS, 2.97 A/T, .164 WS/48, 4.4/-1.3 O/DBPM
Haliburton: 20.3 PER, 60.9% TS, 3.75 A/T, .152 WS/48, 4.6/-0.2 O/DBPM
Obviously, there are all sorts of issues here regarding eras and the fact that Haliburton has only played 3.5 years, but so far, he's basically a copy of Nash with better ball security (4.92 A/T this year...).
Also, FFS, just how good was CP3????
Suns lowkey dumpster fire with all the action today. Is there a decent pg out there they can go after? Book/beal at the 1 has been a disaster.

TO-NY 7-1 since the trade ; only lost was (technically) a one possession game that came down to the wire (and Sacramento shot 21/38 from 3, an uncanny 53.8%)
Knicks seem legit now. Not sure exactly how "legit" they are, but a solid 4th after BOS/PHI/MIL seems fair. Could they beat MIL in a series given how mad MIL is at guarding the perimeter and how good Brunson is?
Mid-way thru the second quarter, Bos/Ind is getting chippy physical.
Yeah. Damn he is so fun to watch too. Hope its not too serious

It looked very painful.
So in less than 10 years I've got to see every bit of hope in my basketball team derailed by:
-PG's broken leg
-Victor's exploded knee
-Haliburton's shredded groin.
At least the Reggie Pacers were pretty cool.
It was weird. Looked very clearly like a groin/hamstring injury. He stood up, but clearly couldn't walk. Wouldn't be shocked it he was done for the year.
He grabbed the bag of his leg like it was a hamstring injury rather than a groin. Either way, it looked very severe. I'm guessing that he is out a few months. Terrible for him and the NBA.
You had hope with Victor? That’s a very sobering thought for me.
I mean...yeah? PG had just asked to be traded and the return was Oladipo and Sabonis. That team out performed fans expectations by a healthy amount (preseason O/U was 31 and they won 48 games) and seemed like it might have the makings of something.
Then Vic's knee blew up.
Lol bang bang what’s the hang calling it a season
Memphis really going on one
Nurk sucks and what a disaster that trade has been
Haliburton MRI points to likely Grade 1 (mildest) Hamstring strain. May have dodged a huge bullet there.
Pistons don't have Cade Cunningham due to injury, promptly drop 47 in the 1Q on 76% shooting.
LOL the Kingks.
Cade-less 3-33 Detroit Pistons just put 47 points on the Kings in the first quarter. How bad must the Kings defense be?
