everyone and their mother on PHX and sleeping on legit wolves. gonna be ant's coming out party licking kd's ancient tears

Ant is the **** but I don't believe in either team. Min was the only team in the west I would've picked the Suns to beat because it's not a good match-up for them, plus I'm always gonna try to pick against playoff KAT and playoff Conley.

I think Booker bounces back and the Suns win the next one and make it a series but we'll see. I hope the Wolves win because they'd give Denver a much better series. They're already 1/3 of the way to winning since all you have to do against the Suns is get to 3 wins and then they lay down and lose the next one by 30+.

Not sure this is much more complicated then Murray and KCP being 7 - 16 through 3 quarters and Russell / Reeves being 1 - 10

Russell generally has been horrendous, some really bad turnovers allied to very poor shooting.

Doesn’t matter really, you can debate the exact why Denver win each of these games but a sweep is the reality

malone way too cavalier not bringing jokic back in the game when lebron cameback, 8-0 run

you bring him back a few mins early and play well then there isnt a last few minutes

maybe just evidence of how little threat denver feels lakers are

elbow owie, rip old man labald :( :(

took 21 years for lebron to take the court in a playoff series and someone to clearly be better than him

i assume you mean on his same team? happened in the 2011 finals :p

I mean just clearly better than him in general. Like consensus league rankings, not really performance in the actual series.

I guess you could say Jokic last yr, but I think you could say that while Jokic was clearly a better regular season player at that point, it was fair to give LeBron some benefit of the doubt that he was still the superior playoff player when all the cips were down (this sounds a bit far fetched post sweep, but the odds on that series were like -150/+130 IIRC)

Ya, I'd probably argue last year's Jokic as clearly better. Guess it depends how much you want to emphasize *clearly*

what are we doing here, Jokic was obv clearly > Lebron last year

yeah, DeAndre Jordan getting minutes proves this

I liked Suns pre-series and not going to change stance off 1 gm (besides obv probability changes that come from being up 1-0) but I definitely do think Wolves matchup better with the Nuggs in the next rd.

Suns are going to have to really grind out 4 wins with how thin their team is and Nurkic/Eubanks is drawing dead on Jokic. Atleast Minnesota has a legitimate center to keep him from going 40-18-13 average.

Even though the Suns found some success with the small ball lineup, I just don't think they're really equipped to play that way against the Wolves size. They're gonna have to run their starters ragged and Nurkic is gonna have to hold up.

random thing I just remembered, do people remember that 2 day stretch in July when the Suns signed like 8 guys for the minimum and bball twitter was blowing the moves as good deals? none of those bums are even in the rotation now besides Eubanks who sucks and barely plays. Gordon I guess, but he was kinda separate from this other crew.

Watanabe, Metu, Bol Bol, Bates-Diop, Eubanks

if thats not the class of 04 that got out of jail in Sopranos season 5, i dunno what is

I see his point - the only reason this year’s series wasn’t Denver -800 is residual respect for LeBron. Last year was clearly mispriced also.

Jokic / Murray >> LeBron / Davis, at this stage of their careers. Time catches up to everyone.

The Laker’s run against this team is completely real, they are just outmatched in every way that matters, and Denver have levers to pull left in reserve each game.

Darvin Ham is also one of the worst coaches ITL. While Mike Malone is one of the best. Nuggets 32-18 3Q score… halftime adjustments matter so much in the playoffs!

Yeah a lot of the specific choices Ham has made on rotations this year have not made sense.

Finishing with Prince over Rui or failing to pull D’Lo in the 3rd quarter and allowing him to get 41 mins to Vincent’s 8…this stuff doesn’t make sense imo in terms of how things were playing out last night. I mean maybe they just don’t care on D’Lo defensively and will just try and have him get hot because they feel that’s what has to happen for them to win, I don’t know. But 41 mins when playing absolute garbage, don’t get it.

Yep he was ****ing hot garbage. Sometimes its just not your night and you should go with someone else.

LeBron deserves so much better than this ****ing muppet of a coach.

Most of this is on Larbon though

He undermined every single coach he had at one point or another. Tried to off Spo too.

Never forget

Not a good TAEK, you should try again.

most of the Lakers current problems go back to the Westbrook trade .... which was also Lebron's idea. Watching KCP cook them every year will never not be funny.

Probably a bit complicated for you, but it’s Ham.

The level of coaching they require given the fundamental talent disparity is leagues above what Ham and his staff are capable of providing.

youre right taking KCP off the Nuggets and putting him on the Lakers would make no difference in this series. all Hams fault!

KCP was traded to the Wizards 3 years ago
