Miami gonna win the series.

If anyone feels similar… head to FD where its +1200.
Likely wont stay that price for long as
DK = +1000
CZR = +900

Miami now has homecourt.
Spo has the master gameplan.
Mazzula is the ultimate muppet.
Heat without Butler actually play more young/wild/free.
Anything can happen in what is now a 5 game series.

I think the Nuggets are gonna be out of the playoffs early this year. Their bench stinks. At least last year they had Jeff Green and Bruce Brown. Both of these guy's were capable of putting up 20 points. I like Watson and Braun for their defense but beyond that there is nothing coming off the bench scoring wise. Last year I felt very confident every game the Nuggets would win. They seem a bit fragile this year. This Laker series would be at least tied right now if it wasn't for horrific coaching

to who?

green is whatever to me but brown is a legit loss

i think most of their starters are better than last year when factoring in the added experience/chemistry though

i dunno, the west has a lot of pretty good teams but none that really feel like they matchup well with the nuggets

without any trolling, the nugs are such overwhelming faves to win the west that you can do very well either betting against them in each series or taking a derivative path and betting western conference winner for other teams since so much of that has denver being the most likely winner priced in

From your lips

Celtics gonna choke. Then Heat lose to Cavs. Knicks beat Pacers.
Then Knicks beat Cavs.

Some of the noncalls are mind bottling.

they still play the song at MSG

The Celtics seem weird. I don't follow the regular season very much, so no opinion other than some vague weirdness. Was talking to some high bettor at the poker table the other night and he said 64 win Celts are soft and going nowhere. Hmm. Beats me.

I can see why. It's a classic. 94 really was their window. I just assumed they were gonna get that championship once Jordan retired. Never took Houston seriously until they won game 7.

They didn't lose in 22 and 23 because they were "soft", and freshening things up in the way they did clearly made them a better team. They also didn't lose last night because they were "soft", Miami just shot them out of the ****ing gym.

Honestly there are a load of Celtic fans who remain emotional that they traded away Marcus Smart (and also Rob Williams, to a lessor extent) and they almost want them to lose to be validated on that.

It's weird fan stuff, beyond rationale.

One of the best rookies ever and now he's crushing it in the playoffs. So sick OKC got the two best players in the '22 draft.

Also it seems like Daigneault is already starting to shorten his rotation. I don't think Kenrich Williams got in until garbage time. Now he just needs to stop giving Gordon Hayward minutes. I never understand why Aaron Wiggins doesn't play more than those guys.

Their offense seems to go from being historically great in the regular season to getting bogged down in the playoffs. Their star players have crappy shot selection. Holiday has always kinda sucked on offense in the playoffs and Porzingis has barely been there but last night wasn't a good sign. I don't know that I'd call them 'soft' but if we're comparing them to last year's Heat or this year's Knicks then yeah they're kobesoft.gif

Miami is drawing dead obviously, the fact that last night's game was close despite the historic shooting makes that clear. Celtics still could've won the game if their offense didn't suck.

They would be in big trouble if Butler wasn't hurt. So in a sense they're lucky. But on the other hand if their reward for being one of the best reg season teams of all time was Butler/Spo in the first round that'd be horrendous luck.

I still think they cruise to the conf finals without any trouble. But I don't think they're anywhere near as scary as they are on paper.

Embiid so triggered. What an enormous loser. I’ll always remember him as the guy who whined himself to the fakest mvp of all time

I got no dog in this fight but Embiid should have easily been ejected in a normal game. Playoff game, ehhh it's close but he'd be on a short leash for another flagrant.

What you all think?

He should’ve been ejected b/c the knee to Hartenstein shouldve been a flagrant 1 also.
