Dejuante I mean he was good defensively real good under pop so thinking if he's on a defensive minded coach team he'd up the defense with og making us better that way then with 20 points ta and 5 dimes plus that in at the 2 you have a top offensive and defens8ve team...

Definitely some L decisions by Masai these last couple of years but I still have faith in him.

I think he stopped playing defense a couple of years ago. Players who regress like that on defense don't make recoveries.

Thibbs is a defensive minded coach I think that has alot to do with it but I disagree he's 27 not 35. This is the more probable reason rather than physically

It's also the same thing that happened with Dragic, some team plays them out of position at the 2 and suddenly they're a 2.

He's a 1, he's too light to guard up routinely. It's a bad pairing with Brunson, it's the same situation he's in currently with Trae.

I think the hawks failed as an organization. I mean 20 and 5 are good numbers for the 2 not sure what they wanted next to Trae. Put him under thibbs with a core that's solid and I think it'll be worth it from the knicks having him be the number 3 guy instead of the number 2 guy like with hawks.

Imagine getting them at 160-1 to title.

As much as I was happy with the OG return, I am thoroughly unimpressed with what we got for Siakam and seems to be conflicting overlapping timelines... I really like the Scottie, Quickley, Barrett timeline, but then there seems to be very little possibilities of other pieces significantly popping... Sure, Bruce Brown is only 27 and might be a piece moving forward (or not...), along with Jacob Poeltl, Trent but all figure to be rotation players at best with little upside left to explore as a ceiling... ; a combination of 3 picks in the teens/20s, Dick, Nwora, Kira Lewis, Freeman-Liberty, Jontay Porter, Marquis Nowell might pop, but it seems like a long shot and makes giving away our own 2024 for Poeltl a head-scratcher in hindsight...

I guess that all this being said, I prefer in theory to have kept Siakam and sign him to a max moving forward, but the relationship might of soured to a point of no return in practice... Oh well, let's hope that Masaii can work some magic, idk...

You thought you could get more trading a 29 yo on an expiring deal? I thought this was great work for both sides. Some nerds don't like it for Indy because of the "overpay", but wtf else are you going to do when you're Indy, no offense to RT who doesn't even live in Indy anymore, proving my point 😉

BB was on a one year deal. Nwora isn't a real player. Likely awful picks for a team that can't even find space for it's rookies now aren't valuable.

What did the Pacers actually need? A PF who's a versatile defender and secondary shot creator. Who else fits that bill better??

Man Toronto committing to there timeliness all I can say is rj and iq are SOLID. they came into league and were patient and had little room to open up there games with Randle and brunson and coach thinbs but ill be Watchung on league pass I still see rj averaging 25 ppg by 25 I eye tested him and his character is high seems good in a system or also has that next gear competitiveness when responding to added responsibility.. couldn't really show it with Randle and brunson but I seen it in spots with him and iq 20 and 6
