dak too high
Gradner not even on the list???
What an outrage!
Most financially successful graduate of my kid's HS class.
My kid is not on the list.
This sounds like fun. I’ll give it a go. My rankings are based on a combination of their skill and cap value. The rookies just drafted are not going to be ranked
1. Mahomes
2. Stroud
3. Bork
4. Lamar
5. Herbert
6. AR-15
7. Burrow
8. Allen
9. Tua
10. Stafford
11. Goff
12. Love
13. Dakota
14. Lawrence
Not sure anyone else is worth ranking since they’re rookies or entirely replaceable at their age and/or price
Anyone rating Richardson high is an idiot
He was a wildly inaccurate college QB who couldn’t protect the ball or himself and he’s managed less than 150 yards a game in 4 NFL starts before getting injured.
Anyone rating him above Josh is an idiot who also got dropped on his head as a child and has permanent brain damage. Josh is the top percentile upside of what AR might evolve into if everything goes right.
If richardson and Allen were making the same amount of money then yes, anyone picking richardson over allen is an idiot
Allen makes so much they had to deal diggs
Richardson makes so little they could extend Taylor
Richardson > Allen
SRM quickly losing street cred itt
I regret nothing
Sepp Straka cost me 5 grand when literally one of his 900 bogeys yesterday coulda been a par and I would have won
Yesterday was not a good day for logic and reason
I regret Sepp Straka
Ooh, don't get me started on Sepp. He's one of the guys that never works out in my favor. Sucks when I back him and runs like a god otherwise. He's the only guy I wish would go to LIV, so he can stop ****ing me over.
But as for your list, AR is way too high. Why not put some rookies on there? I would prefer to have Caleb or Jaden over AR since AR is basically just a rookie in his second year with minimal playing experience. Also are missing Hurts. And I mean how the hell is Tua 9 on this list?
If anyone wants to sweat $100, I'd like to bet on
Tua being ahead in more of the following categories by the end of the regular 2024 season:
Passing Yards
Passing TDs
TD%
INT%
Comp %
Passer Rating
Success %
1. You can take any QB other than Mahomes, Burrow, or Stroud
2. Minimum 300 pass attempts to qualify. If Tua has 200 attempts and then gets injured for the season. You win as long as your QB gets to 300 attempts and is ahead in at least 4 of the 7 categories. If neither QB gets to 300 attempts, the bet is a push.
First come, first serve.
Why no Mahomes? I'd be in for that.
The irony is this Panthers team being better than the Canes.
Baker Mayfield
Aaron Rodgers
Geno Smith
Will Levis
Derek Carr
Anthony Richardson
Sam Darnold
Russell Wilson
Aidan O'Connell
Daniel Jones
Jacoby Brissett
Bryce Young
Oh, and
Brutal. I'd rank Bryce ahead of Sammy D, but I understand he's a believe it when we see it. I'm bullish Canales, and the more I learn about last season, the more I realize just how bad the shitshow was between the coaches, the FO, and Tepper. I won't say it was Urban Meyer disastrous, and Trevor was certainly a better prospect, but there are parallels.
it kills me the way heels still catches strays even when the riveting topic dips into hockey sticks
but against the floor i tend to agree with key mythological evidence
One day, the Panthers will be back to lose another Super Bowl. We may not be alive to see it, but it will happen. My avatar depends on it.
Oh it was Urban Meyer disastrous. Actually worse since you can't get rid of Tepper and Bryce Young was absolutely horrific. Trevor at least tried to push the ball a little bit in his rookie year.
And we knew how toxic Urban was and how it was never going to work out from the jump.
Oh yeah, and great job shoring up the O line...oh wait. That's a huge problem. Carolina is in deep trouble.

Meh, like you said, everyone knew Urban was a disaster as soon as he was hired. I wasn't exactly excited about Reich, but we had a decent staff on paper and what looked to be some stability, especially compared to Matt Rhule. I actually think things went off the rails when Reich wanted CJ and Tepper overrode him for Bryce. If true, it was definitely unprofessional, but my read was that Reich basically sabotaged things from there.
Who was Bryce supposed to push the ball to? DJ Chark, who dropped about 50% of the balls thrown his way? Jonathan Mingo, who was creating unnecessary toe tap sideline catches while wide open? 32 year old Adam Thielen, who was basically the only guy who could get open and catch the ball, but he could barely make it 10 yards downfield? Terrace Marshall? Tommy Tremble or Ian Thomas?
We invested a lot of money in the O line. Maybe they work out or maybe they don't. Maybe there was some overpay, but Bryce is in a much better position than he was a year ago. We hired a coach who made Geno Smith and Baker Mayfield look good. There could be some confirmation bias here, but I'm also not convinced that Russ falling off isn't partially related to not being coached by Canales anymore.
I'm bullish on Canales being able to make the most of Bryce. Will it be enough? Maybe not. Bryce's size is certainly a hinderance, but let's not act like he didn't have enough pedigree to be the top overall pick just a year ago. Since the end of last season, we've added multiple O lineman, Diontae, a first round WR (who I still have doubts about at that price), and the top RB in the draft. We'll see how it goes.
