Godgers said “I love Davante. I can’t wait to play with him… again” recently.
If the raiders have a bad start to the year I could see this trade making sense but there is no way the NFL would allow Godgers to have Adams, Wilson and Williams. It would ruin the competitive balance of the league.
More like the Jets can't afford to trade for him anyway.
I'd say they are in for a surprise when Rodgers turns out to be average at best this year, but they just went through the Zach Wilson experience, so average QB play might be good enough.
A gimp Rodgers is an improvement, but it still won't be enough.
Could see them finishing 2nd in the division though behind Miami.
If Fraudgers isn't fortunate enough to pop an achilles in Game 1, he'll plod along under the weather from some mysterious undiagnosable malady until he exits mid-season.

They did hold 8 of their opponents to under 20 points which is impressive on the surface.
Week 1 against the Bills when Allen **** the bed. He tortured them in their 2nd meeting.
Week 6 against Philly and Hurts. I think Philly kind of gave this one away, but I'll still say it was impressive.
Week 14 when they almost killed Stroud, but to be fair they did shut him out.
The other 5 times were against Mac, Tyrod/Devito, Aiden, Ridder, and Zappe.
This season they're up against at least 8 QBs in the top 16. Purdy, Allen x2, Stroud, Kyler, Tua x 2, Trevor. If you want to include AR in the top 16, then it would be 9 QBs.
Defenses are hard to predict and they can just as easily regress. The good news if you like them is you'll get to find out right away if they're real when they play the 9ers.
Robert Saleh is a fantastic defensive (head coach) mastermind. I don't doubt the Jets being superior on that side of the ball.
Their fate is set by how good or even great Godgers can be.
Kinda feel like you really shouldnt pay a thirty year old receiver huge money, doesnt matter that devante adams has been great. Could be over quick. I have bad takes on everything and yet my mind wants to keep going.... how do the eagles lose? I can see a hard game week 1, upstart young packers. people arent really ready week1.. But I see eagles losing 2-3 games tops. Cake walk into playoffs numbers 1 seed. 9ers are over. .500 team.
