2024 F1 Season.

2024 F1 Season.

Seeing as no one has started a new thread yet I thought I would.

Will Max win everything again?

Has Lewis made the right decision to switch?

When will Horner get sacked?

Is 24 races far too many?

Predictions for the season?

Mine is Perez will get replaced mid way through the season and Lando will actually finally win a race

I had no idea that Spotrac tracked F1

https://www.spotrac.com/formula1

a few of them jump out as disproportionate

the points do add up...

Newey off to Aston Martin. Would have not thought that in a million years. Looking at the deal though it is a no brainer. Sets his family up for generations to come

Lance Stroll 2026 WDC would be hilarious. After Alonso keeps getting bad pit stops, strategies and engine shutdowns.

Are details of the deal public?

I'm kind of disappointed he went for the money. It's not like he was lacking it. A move to Ferrari would have been much cooler

Stroll has to leave if Aston Martin are that serious with now having Newey. Surely his dad realises this.

I also think location - he probably likes living in the UK

He probably at first did believe he was going to Ferrari. Then, Stroll swept in and made him an unbelievable offer. Very persuasive and won him over.

At Ferrari, he’s in a high position.

At Aston, he’s basically THE MAN! No one is higher, even Lawrence bends the knee to him.

Plus it’s a bigger achievement and way more disruption to bring a championship to Aston from where they are than Ferrari where they’ve won a ton in the past

At Aston Martin, he is vested... he is part owner.

Plus the big thing in all of this is that he is working with Honda still

Yeah. Lawrence gave him a piece. An offer he couldn’t refuse.

Would be interesting how those shares are structured. That deal probably was some of Eddie Jordan’s best work.

Seriously doubt it was just a money decision even though it sounds like that on top of the salary he also gets an ownership stake in both the F1 team and Aston Martin. Ferrari can't offer him the power and freedom that Lawrence Stroll just gave him. There are too many other people that want to have a say. Continuing with the Valkyrie and anything else he wants is also something I am not sure Ferrari can offer.

Sorry I wasn't watching too closely but why was Russell running Hard tires for almost all of P2?

Well looks like McLaren won't have to worry about drivers dynamics

Out in Q1 wow!

Both Williams in Q3!

James too nice giving Logan a 2nd season.

McLaren remains devestaitingly incompetent

Checo BIG time back (to the 1 track he isn't trash at)
