Mine is Perez will get replaced mid way through the season and Lando will actually finally win a race
Not that it matters (never bought there was a title fight) but it's pretty clear the rules are in Max's favor here. The engineer of McLaren should have known better rather than playing the good news show with Lando to make him happy
Completely on McLaren for not giving the place back
Yeah I immediately thought racing incident as Lando went out wide off track but only because Max forced him off - you could tell with Max's sheepish responses after the race that he got away with that.
I really hope to see a good performance from Checo this Sunday in front of his home crowd after last year's huge disappointment.
I don't think the autodromo de Hermanos Rodriguez fits his style.
Look to Verstapen and Norris laying down the law... Maybe Sainz also.

For those wondering about Piastri... it's pretty evident that Mac has decided to stagger their Strategy.
You can clearly see it in this driver graph... Piastri is low downforce and Norris has a bit more downforce.

It's known as 'squaring off the corner'... max didn't invented the technique (its been used since the beginning of time), but he does seem to get away with using it more often than anyone else.
The issue is, the FIA has a standing rule... you need to keep a cars width for the over taking car while Max regularly drifts all the way to the outside edge of the track, and that is dangerous.
I have always said, HOLD YOUR LINE to the over taking drivers... and if he drifts into you when your already at or near the track Boundaries, then he drove into you. But, they always seem to turn off the track to avoid the collision and that either looses them the position or make them over take out of bounds... HOLD YOUR LINE!

I like FP2, you learn what has been happening all week and Brundle will tell you you something interesting at a couple of corners. Of couse, I never stay awake for the whole program.
We don't get FP1 in Canada. We also don't get Ted's Notebook, which might be my favourite part of the show. I don't even watch the post race anymore because it never gets to Ted, just a lot of hockey answers. Yawn.
the McLaren engineers are again shitting the bed, it's pretty obvious what the best thing to do was and they're trying to be cute again to not make Piastri angry
