2024 F1 Season.

2024 F1 Season.

Seeing as no one has started a new thread yet I thought I would.

Will Max win everything again?

Has Lewis made the right decision to switch?

When will Horner get sacked?

Is 24 races far too many?

Predictions for the season?

Mine is Perez will get replaced mid way through the season and Lando will actually finally win a race

I do agree I'd like to see the work on Perez's marketability. I find it hard to believe that a few mexicans wearing Redbull polo's is what is moving the needle

131m population in Mexico

Of which 95% earn <1.5k USD/month. China has 1.5B, how much does Zhou outsell Checo?

I meant more factual data such as what share of RedBull's revenues can we allocate to the Mexican market? How does merch sales compare vs other countries ? etc...

I tend to agree with the comments above that suggest it may say more about Max wanting Checo to stay than the rest

I had a quick search and it seems like it comes from a quote from David Croft where he said that around 65% of all RB online merch sales were in Mexico (basically everything talking about the value Checo brings ends up linking back to this tweet).

I doubt there's a full breakdown available to the public.

ferrari sent both drivers out there on used tyres in q2 in order to save them for later

p11
p12

rofl

wet race

even funnier

this is great, pissing rain, everyone on inters except the haas cars which are on the wets and flying. kmag 5th from 15th on the grid after a couple laps

Latifi was bad but I don't remember him being as bad as Sargeant

well that was good fun throughout

rain is king, its time to ditch all the desert races and replace them all with events in the north-west of england

Really fun race - most fun of the season

George showing why he’s not quite up there yet - 3 mistakes that cost him serious time

My favourite race of the season so far. How long till the FIA suggest putting sprinklers on the tracks again?

I wish it would've rained a bit longer at the start just for the hilarity of seeing the Haas drive through the field to lead.

I'd like to see a multi discipline series... open wheel, full bodied, off road, rally.

The talk on Twitter how Mercedes is intentionally sabotaging Lewis seems ridiculous. LH is a whiner or is Merc really screwing him over?

Hamilton fans are delusional. Hamilton himself hasn't really said anything except that he is no longer included in design meetings which is normal. Going to be even more toxic if Leclerc ends up consistently beating Hamilton.

Max won Canada in a RB and he would also have won in a Merc and in a McLaren

let the WHINING begin... Ferrari isn't going to put up with that shyte.
At Ferrari, the brand is more valuable than any one driver... specially a short term driver.

to your point, teams will indeed hold back set up information and parts updates to personnel that do not have a long term seat at the teams table. it's always been this way... it will always be this way.

that being said, Jorge has been as fast... and FASTER many times, than Lulu is.

Norris... Beautiful qualifying session.

it's a tribute to how consistently **** he has been that Checo coming in 8th barely raises an eyebrow any more

Damn, Lando might have gotten into DRS zone by the end of the race if that last pit stop didn't cost him an extra 1.5 seconds.

Max stealing the win again. That overtake on Russell was key.

Teams now see that getting a comparable or slightly better car than de RB does not guarantee GP wins. Max hardly ever leaves something on the table.

Lando still needs to learn a thing or two if he wants to beat Max

Penalties incoming?

Max and Red Bull: “we did nothing wrong!”

A meaningless 10 second penalty for Max who still finished 5th while ending the race for Norris seems disproportionate for a deliberate act.

correct. like how to avoid being run into by a petulantly dangerous bad sport
