WNBA 2024
angel reese is giving Caitlin Clark a run for rookie of the year
Caitlin Clark points per minute: .465
angel Reese points per minute: .448
per 35 minutes that's 16.3 and 15.7... so pretty close.
angel plays 31 minutes a game
Caitlin plays 34.4
in those minutes angel is avg a league leading 11.7 rebounds a game. next highest is 10.9
caitlin's only appearance on any leaderboard is third place in assists with 7.1
she does lead the league in turnovers, and leads by a lot
angel is 9th in eff and Caitlin is 15th
Angel Reese's mentor is Shaq. He prolly gave her the secret for smashing them BOARDS.
wow Caitlin had a game!! 19pts 13 asst 12 reb
List of WNBA rookies who have recorded a triple double:
Caitlin Clark
*end of list*
Couple of weeks ago I took "the field" over Clark for ROY at like 4 or 5-1. I'm liking my side despite Clark's big game vs NY. I think Angel is going to win it, especially if CHI makes the playoffs and IND misses. Still half the season to go and Angel seems much more consistent to me despite Clark's stats. If IND misses the playoffs, I don't see how they give it to Clark.
i'm happy to book that with you if you want more
i think the only scenario where clark doesn't get it is a season ending injury because caitlin has brought so much attention to the league and is bringing all time attendance records wherever she plays

ROY is not based on attention or attendance. Or are you being sarcastic? You're rickrolling me right? I get it.
It's also probable that Reese is close to her ceiling for this season, while Clark can still improve and will likely be even better in the 2nd half.
Chicago & Indiana will be fighting for the playoffs, also
Like the ‘98 home run chase. Turning on SportsCenter at the top of the hour to see who went yard that day, Reese, Clark or Griffey
I was looking at tickets when angel Reese and the Chicago sky come to LA.
the price of floor seats
for other teams
no more fever games here, so I couldn't compare prices for CC
and btw the LA sparks are 5-15 and Cameron brink is out for the season, so tickets aren't exactly in high demand
as angel likes to say "yesterday's price is not today's price"
and some economic evidence that people are not watching JUST for cc, but also watching for angel too
and the sky are mid team(8-11) and the sparks (5-15). they aren't coming to see the sky either. they're paying that money to see angel Reese
One triple double with assists is more impressive than 20 double-doubles with rebounds
You're basically conceding that Reese deserves the award for her superior play, while you think Clark will win for attendance (lol). So the media will vote on attendance at a time when the sport is trying to gain more legitimacy?
Last 3 ROY winners are Aliyah Boston, Ryne Howard and Michaela Onyenwere. Not exactly box office stars.
AND Reese is increasing attendance as well as filthyvermin points out.
I like my side.

I feel like this is a troll but he's so committed to the bit I can't tell.
MVP voters in every sport every year: Will the voters get it right or will they vote for narrative or for the guy who wasn't already won't two-in-a-row just for a new winner?
