he couldn't manage to keep a starting spot over mudryk last season who was also pretty dreadful. in fact i'm pretty sure 1 game ben chillwell came on at left wing instead of Sterling, and 1 game Gallagher started out of position at left wing instead of sterling. if the guy didn't see he was being phased out he's an idiot.

some people thought that maresca who likes to use wide wingers would provide an opening for sterling to get back into the team, but it appears maresca didn't think he was going to make it.

similarly it's all english media people talking about how bad sterling is being treated. talksport had Darren Bent on saying Sterling would play in arsenal's best 11 after some game time....

i think that speaks more about the company you keep than anything to do with americans in general

again, not once have i ever heard anyone complain about anything at all regarding pulisic's end at chelsea - stuff like that is normal and happens all the time, particularly at those elite level teams which are constantly churning players in and out trying to find the combo which will be the best in the world

Even their “normal” signings are nonsensical. Like signing Tosin on a free. Sounds like good business, but he’s like 4th choice and they have Disasi and Chalobah not even in the squad. Joao Felix signed just because basically. They also sign a gk every two weeks because reasons. disasi and tosin both played today. lol disasi is coming back from a hernia surgery. chalobah is definitely a shame though. he's "pure profit" but out of the three sterling/gallagher/chalobah i would have wanted to keep chalobah for sure.

Pretty much this. Tbh I'm of the opinion that as soon as I got my massive contract I'd go full Winston Bogarde, but it's probably that attitude that has been holding me back in the first place.
