for me the CBs are the most important but when Maddison's in form then I sorta agree that he's next, especially vs low block. Romero is ****ing awesome. So of course the thickest third of spurs fans want to run him out of town too, sure why not, Madrid will be happy to take him.

I worked with a Dutch guy when RvN was at United, and he used to laugh about how Dutch fans ridiculed RvN by calling him The Farmer, apparently a reference to how notoriously stupid he was.

As a Dutch person I've never heard this before. He came from a farming background in a small rural area and he was quite stoic and stubborn which over here is a "typical farming attitude". But never heard anything about him being known for being notoriously stupid or anything close, he was very well respected imo.
I think compared to the Dutch squad we have now RvN would be Mensa material.
